Peruvian producer & DJ Gianpierre Soto was born in 1990. His first musical experience was with criolla, the flute and the siku. The criolla is a Peruvian music which combines mainly African, Spanish & Andean influences. The siku is (a traditional Andean panpipe). He started playing the flute and siku at the age of 7. After 3 years of experiencing the harmonic music influence that lives in his family from generations and native culture. He moved to the United States at the age of 10. Feeling lost at first he kept his motivation for music by experiencing new sensations that surrounded him from classical, jazz, pop, and rock. It wasn’t long enough until his first experience of trance nock of his door. On the summer of 2000 he discovered trance from his friend Lev Arytunov and after listening to ATB’s “9pm Till I Come” his motivation, passion and love for music completely changed.

Three years after listening to the latest of trance music from compilations of Armin van Buuen’s A State of Trance, Tiesto’s In Search of Sunrise and Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats Volume One. 2003 became the year of his first steps in producing electronic music. He devoted himself and his love for music to help him build his studio and music from scratch. He first began to play the piano by listening to the keys and notes being played from countless of music productions from different genres, then taking it a little further with the development of following the steps on his keyboard playing “Moonlight Sonata” by Ludwig v. Beethoven. Although it helped him he still is learning. The next step for him was to learn to DJ, which he did by installing a virtual program in his computer “Virtual DJ” which he still uses on this day for many of his compilations and radio broadcasts. It took him a month to learn the transitions, loops and when to fade away a track with many filters. 

With many successes in learning and developing his music, it began to the point where his heart and mind produce all of his expressions and feelings. On 2004 he met a great friend that brought memories from his experience back home. Shawn Costa was from Argentina and has experience with the guitar, the violin, israj and many string instruments. When Gianpierre and Shawn met they had a lot of influences in music and ideas with combinations that related to their roots of music. With music from Greek, Persia, Spain, South America and Brazil, they combined all the elements to created many songs that reflect love for the art of music. 

With the help from Shawn, Gianpierre created countless of songs from 2004 - 2008 that were produced together or by himself for the making of his first Sunchaser album called “Innertouch”. Only few of the songs that were created from both of them was put on the album and the rest were put on hold for other projects to come. Innertouch was successfully released on November of 2008 with 3xCD’s. Even though no album is in the making now, Gianpierre never stops producing his feelings that inspired him from this world. 

In 2007 Lev and Gianpierre started a radio broadcast called “Deepjuno Worldwide Sessions” that was played weekly through the internet. After not being able to run the show together, Gianpierre carried on with the show solo. But it only took a few months until he came with an idea to start fresh with his artist name Sunchaser. On May 11th of 2009 Gianpierre created a new broadcast show called “Capseonus Sessions” that was also the name for his record label “Capseonus Music” that is still on the making to successfully run by the year of 2010. With many goals in mind he never stops with ideas and new ways on creating his perspectives in music. Although he has many years to come, what ideas, what kind of music, where will he go, and how will he achieve them? Are the questions that he asks himself every day.

Two heads are better than one - a maxim evidenced by the production and spinning union of Grube & Hovsepian. G&H came into being in 2008 when Florida-based producer Tim Grube reached out to LA-based Mike Hovsepian. Having heard SMG honcho Markus Schulz playing Mike’s tracks on his Global DJ Broadcast show, Tim had picked up on the Coldharbour-edged themes contained in his solo productions. Recognizing a like-mind, he suggested an east-to-west coast spanning partnership – a challenge to which Mike readily accepted. 

Together, in an incredibly short space of time, they’ve carved their musical mark on EDM’s landscape, building up a formidable disc/remixography. To date the duo have served up the proverbial sound-storm of club-rocking tracks for many a respected label. Among them have been High Contrast, Arnej Music, Club Elite and - naturally enough - Coldharbour, who’ve shared the spoils of hard fired audio like ‘Invisible’, ‘Conviction’, ‘Pressure’ and their Klauss Goulart collaboration ‘Territory’. On the remix front, they’ve rewired the likes of Markus Schulz’s ‘Do You Dream’, M.I.K.E.’s ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’, Klauss Goulart’s ‘No Man’s Land’ and Aaron Camz’s ‘Distance’. They’ve also reworked more mainstream fare, which of late has come to include indie-popstress Ellie Goulding's sleeper hit ‘Lights’. This club ordinance has found its way into an increasing high profile litany of DJs wallets - Schulz, Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Gareth Emery being just some of regular deck supporters. In 2012 the pair teamed up with fellow US producer Elevation for the rapaciously uplifting ‘City of Angels’ and vocalist Tiffany Johnston on ‘Venom’. Of the latter DJ Mag stated “Venom’ could very well become Grube & Hovsepian’s coming-of-age track”, whilst the States-based EDM Magazine said it had “hang-off-every-word lyrics” and “massed atmosphere from start to finish”.  

The pair are no less versed in the turntable arts, with Tim originally having honed his behind-the-decks skills warming up for many a world-class DJ in his native Washington D.C. area. On the other side of the country, Mike blazed a similar trail in California and now collectively their progressive/trance, and electro tinged sets have brought EDM fans flocking in ever-greater numbers. With venues like D36 in NYC, Red Circle in San Diego, LA’s Avalon & Exchange clubs and Space in Miami already smashed, in March they made their debut at the 2012 Winter Music Conference, playing the Coldharbour showcase at Dream. January of 2013 will see them play their first arena-sized event at Prague’s O2 for Transmission Spiritual Gateway.
