Our Sacred Void - 2024_DJset-01

Mav (she/her) is a DJ, producer and live techno performer based in Dublin; she started spinning tunes in the early 2000s and eventually found her habitat in the alternative clubbing scene where she could simultaneously explore her gender and evolve her sound. She sits on the dark/industrial side of the techno landscape.
Coming from rock/metal roots, she approached electronic music from an alternative angle. The exploration of industrial, dark, goth, EBM, aggrotech, has broadened her views and heavily influenced her taste and creativity. She loves strong four on the floor beats and aggressive, hypnotic grooves with little-to-none melody. It makes it the perfect setting for an intimate journey.

The 4th edition of our podcast series was recorded by Belleville co-founder Raul Exposito. Raul, who was born in Göttingen, Germany, focuses on danceability in his sets and loves to create a rhythmic and sonic journey for the listener. Therefore he chooses high quality productions with a certain groove and interesting sound design. 
Our latest mix is a prime example. Raul shows his ability to smoothly manoeuvre through different rhythms, energy levels and soundscapes. Expect a selection of percussion driven productions as well as trippy atmospheres and loopy synth lines, mixed in a way that is sure to get you dancing.
