Time is running and a lot of distorted frequencies have passed in our eardrums since that first self-produced release on Sony cassettes in 2016. Raw Culture turns 5 and for its fifth anniversary it is its handyman Asymmetrical to blow out the candles.

After his first EP “For Muthafucka Use Only” released in 2017, Asymmetrical returns to his little baby with an album, Blind Faith.
Inspired by Ben Elton dark, savagely comic novel where he imagine a post- apocalyptic society where religious intolerance combines with a confessional sex obsessed, self-centric culture to create a world where nakedness is modesty, ignorance is wisdom and privacy is a dangerous perversion, Blind Faith aims to be a critique of post capitalist society and to redesign the idea and the relationship in the
contemporary club.

Two densely engraved sides for a total of 8 tracks ranging from Ebm to techno, from electro to New Wave, all connected by raw rhythms, noise and distant voices.

When we talk about Luis M. Espinosa, we are talking about one of the greatest activists and musical exponents of the Madrid scene since the beginning of the nineties, being one of the most active and restless artists musically since his beginnings without wanting to pigeonhole or place limitations between musical genres or styles. Always understanding music as a whole.

Obsessed with music and cinema since he was a child, with all kinds of genres and styles, he began his journey like almost everyone else at that time, cutting and pasting songs on double cassette tapes, until he discovered the world of turntables, turntablism and scratching at the age of 10. And buying and collecting in Vinyl since the early nineties without stopping working with the Music and continue to expand its huge collection of vinyl for decades every day throughout these 44 years. Exercising his work as a DJ since the beginning of the nineties 93. Combined with his work as a promoter and catalyst of hundreds of sessions and events. Director for decades of many of the Events and Sessions.

From here on he is fully dedicated to the creation and promotion of events where eclecticism, the flight from fashion and typecasting have been the norm. It has become an important reference in the dissemination of different styles of black and electronic music in the capital. For example, we can mention the Sound City, A.I. Series, K4PHREX, Oberheinm, Electro Frequencies, Slow Motion, Round Nature & Zyrcadian Editions... cultivating and developing in a parallel way the noble art of DJing in venues such as Siroco, Café la Palma, Ballesta Club, Specka and many others throughout the country.

In 2020, he launches his publishing platform, Artificial Intelligence, a clear tribute to the memorable Warp series. Its main vocation will be to pay tribute and a sincere and heartfelt tribute to the pioneers of the early 1990s, from the first scene and generation of creators, artists and producers of the Bleep sound and pioneers of Braindance and Idm from labels such as Warp Records, Rephlex, Planet Mu and Skam Records.

A Waje deberían conocerle de episodios tan gloriosos en la historia del clubbing subterráneo madrileño como son 8Z8 y el Colectivo Robotique, y ahora los proyectos Orbita y Moebium.  

Hay que decir que los de Post Club hemos crecido con Waje como profesor de escuela, mamando ávidamente de sus sesiones todoterreno en Specka en las que conjugaba con maestría electro, techno, drones y cualquier estilo nacido en los 80, ya sea New Beat, Industrial, EBM, Cold Wave y un largo etcétera. Lo que siempre nos dejó a cuadros es su capacidad para cambiar de estilos siempre logrando sonar a él mismo, amén de una técnica excelsa que le permite aguantar las mezclas un larguísimo tiempo. Pese a su veteranía, Waje siempre está al tanto de las novedades y siempre ha sabido incorporar nuevos lenguajes a su engrasada paleta de ritmos maquinales. El otro día tuvo a bien abrir el concierto de Esplendor Geométrico en el Centro Cívico Delicias de Zaragoza y que mejor para rebootear nuestra serie de podcasts que la sesión enlatada de tan ilustre evento. The new FEMUR release features the Swiss duo SAVAGE GROUNDS, agents of a dirty, raw and miserable sound. “Es un flash electrónico” is a true exercise of proximity and freshness combining mid-tempo landscapeses with stimulating accelerated bursts. The release consists of 3 original tracks and a remix by Esplendor Geométrico, which elevates the original called “Última línea” to another dimension.
