Distant has come a long way over the last few years. We are already at episode 58, which is absolutely crazy, and we have had multiple events hosted in Amsterdams finest club: De Marktkantine. It is very painful to see her having to close her doors this June. Luckily we have one last chance to give it a proper goodbye. An esteemed career stretching over a decade has seen Gai Barone become one of Italy's foremost sought after DJ and Artist/Producers. His drive for excellence and quest to create something uniquely memorable and deeply moving features in both his sets and productions which ensures each of Gai’s performances and creations are met with great anticipation, as his legions of regular 'Patterns' listeners will testify. 
We had to invite him to mix the second in our new DJ series to celebrate his debut remix for the label where he transforms Fauxplay's 'Avalon' into a real emotional rollercoaster with lush heartstring-pulling chords, shimmering synths, deep pads and buzzy melodies that chime in your head for days.   Gai is a big supporter of the original and has been playing this remix as a secret weapon for some time, so its finally time for everyone else to share in its beauty too (out - 17th March):

We welcome Stuart King for the next instalment of our DJ mix series.  Stuart has just released his first EP 'Aloe Vera / Bangaba' in three years on the label which shot into the Top #10 of Beatport's Organic House Charts + Top #20 of the Main House chart too.  He is a key resident at clubs like the world famous Warung in Brazil - where he continues to play every year, and summer residencies at Privilege and Space in Ibiza  as well as all over Europe and beyond. 

Having been DJing and producing for over 20 years starting out as Sunday Club releasing many cult dreamy, epic & progressive house records in the heady heights of 90’s dance; having a major impact on shaping and pushing the progressive trance sound forward. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Kayangan Lake, often mistaken for purely freshwater, is actually a mix of rainwater and ocean seepage - making it one of the cleanest and most unique lakes in Asia. Bridge is a DJ and electronic music enthusiast who has been consistently building his musical career for years. He began his journey behind the decks two decades ago, and in 2010, he became the runner-up in the Podkarpacie DJ Championship, which opened the door to new stages and clubs.

He is the creator of his own podcast, Sunday Soundscapes, where he presents the most interesting shades of house and techno, while maintaining a vibrant atmosphere and musical cohesion. He regularly collaborates with London-based station Saturo Sounds, ensuring his sets reach listeners worldwide.

Bridge is also a member of the Lucid collective, whose mission is to promote Polish DJs and producers. He is also developing the duo 2Nite with Funky M., where both DJs combine their styles to create energetic, groove-filled sets.

His selections are a journey through various genres, where the atmosphere and emotions the music can evoke are paramount. Regardless of whether he plays in a club or online, he always focuses on depth of sound, smooth transitions and a unique vibe that will stay in the memory for a long time.

Jego pierwsze produkcje wydawane od 2012 roku, utrzymane były w ciemniejszym stylu progressive trance oraz progressive house. 
Spotkało się to z licznym wsparciem od takich artystów jak Markus Schulz, Basil O'Glue, Styller czy Tucandeo. 

Od 2015 roku współzałożyciel duetu Sodality w gatunku progressive trance.

Sound Fusion, aka Tomasz Weychan.

Polish music producer and DJ specializing in the progressive/deep house genre.

His first productions, released in 2012, were in the darker style of progressive trance and progressive house.

This received significant support from artists such as Markus Schulz, Basil O'Glue, Styller, and Tucandeo.

Since 2015, he has co-founded the progressive trance duo Sodality.

Original productions and remixes from this collaboration have been released on Armada Music and Black Hole Recordings.
Their tracks have appeared frequently on the playlists of artists such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Paul Van Dyk, Dash Berlin, Super8 & Tab, Arty, and many others.

In 2022, he returned to producing music under the Sound Fusion alias, focusing on the progressive/deep house genre.

"Normally I know that high expectations kill the vibe, so I always try to walk my way open minded and don’t expect anything special from the future, but this time I couldn’t help it. When the Robot told me that she wanted me to play the sunrise set and that we will be connected with the Mayan Warrior soundsystem, I could feel it already in Berlin a full three weeks before… Then when I finally took the bus over to Robot Heart it was even better than in my craziest expectations. This gig was by far the most emotional gig I have ever played. All I can say is thank you, I am even more happy now to be born on this weird planet which can be really beautiful sometimes, when you give it  chance to be free. Thank you you for dancing with me and giving me so much Love. So here is my try to give something back.

The human body is the most highly engineered object in existence, a machine of uncountable parts and unfathomable function. Its workings have served as inspiration for all of humanity's greatest inventions. This work is an homage to the two most amazing mechanisms in that machine: the human eye and hand. The head is a 16 foot camera obscura demonstrating the ray optics principals underlying the spherical lensed eye humans posses and the hands are actuated mimicking the tendons and bones of the body. Together they represent what separates life from the rest of the universe, the ability to observe the world around us and manifest change in that world.

Fergus Alexander is a highly respected DJ and promoter based in Brisbane, Australia, who has been active in the electronic music scene for over two decades. Known for his deep, rhythmic, and emotive sets that blend progressive house, techno, and melodic grooves, Fergus has earned a reputation for his seamless mixing and keen track selection. His ability to create a dynamic atmosphere on the dance floor has made him a favorite in both intimate club settings and large festivals.

Fergus has performed at renowned venues like Sub Rosa, Barsoma, La La Land, Brown Alley, Empire, and Family, as well as major festivals such as Future Music Festival, Earth Frequency, Earthcore, and Creamfields. He has shared stages with top international acts, including Joris Voorn, Henry Saiz, Mathew Johnson, Gui Boratto, Dave Seaman and many more

Beyond his DJ career, Fergus is an influential promoter. He co-founded events such as the Logic series, which brought top tier interstate and international talent to Brisbane, and more recently Ctrl, a night focused on intimate house and electronica experiences​

Fergus remains a pillar of Brisbane’s underground electronic music community, continually pushing the boundaries of sound and elevating the local scene with his innovative style.
