Rainbow Serpent Festival 2019 - Chill Stage

Beginning on 25 March, the Alert Level was moved to Level 4, putting New Zealand into a nationwide lockdown.
It was a confusing, scary time.

What an amazing time playing for the Mad Hatterz crew at this years Halloween doof. Definitely one for the history books. The vibe was absolutely amazing. A massive thank you for all that braved the sun for my early afternoon set. Had a lot of fun bridging the gap between funky styles of Schrodinger's Funk and tech trance heavy hitters of Aaron M. Hope you can enjoy the set, this one has a lot of classics in it, taking me back a few years on a nostalgic trip.

Ferksta (AUM)
Fat, chunky, emotive, and progressive music with a psychedelic twist defines Ferksta’s sound. Expect lush organic soundscapes and atmospheric journeys intertwined with driving basslines, a style characterised by blind “that'll do” track selections and a madman’s approach to pancake layering of tracks. Ferksta is known for his quirky personality, rainbow coloured clothing and crushed velvet shorts. They’re really soft to the touch. Confused yet? If you’re planning to be in front of the speakers when he plays, buckle up. It’s going to get weird.

A recognizable figure in our local dance industry as the creator and co-owner of AUM Festival, and the legendary Velvet parties, and playing music for over 300 years. Had to read that bit again didn't you?
