Poetically lovely, with more than a tinge of romanticism, ‘Setting Sun’ is an optimistic Song that roughly resembles the semblance of Empire Of The Sun and Pharrell-like alternative Dance elements. Emotionally alluring yet compellingly danceable, this is unapologetic Pop music that refuses to adhere to rigid boundaries.

Remixes for ‘Setting Sun’ (Part 1) include the hand of the beautiful Nora En Pure - who delivers a stunning Deep House Remix sounding like a refreshing break from the the oh-so-popular bangers, and up and coming UK producer DJ Chad Tyson – who delivers a dancefloor–ready interpretation of the Track, pitching down the vocal on top of a sunny Nu Disco groove.

(Part 2) Remixes from David Guetta’s favorite Daddy’s Groove, Scottish legend Grum and Chromeo’s Last Gang very own Leisure Cruise round out the encapsulating package.

Steve Smith & Paul Harris are well versed in the world of Electronic music creating Dirty Vegas over 10 years ago and are ready for the next step in the bands evolution. Continuing a legacy of excellence in a career that has garnered innumerable accolades including the pretentious Grammy for Best Electronic Album. Announcing themselves earlier this year with the “Next Planet EP", the mysterious Cubicolor are rapidly making a name for themselves. Pete Tong named them as one of the hottest acts to watch in the next 12 months, and the “Got This Feeling EP” shows exactly why.

Featured on Anjunadeep 06, title track “Got This Feeling” is an anthem in the best sense of the word; catchy but classy with intricate details. A chugging melodic groove and lazy percussion make way for a majestic piano breakdown and a joyous vocal loop. Anjuna regulars can finally put an ID to this one after hearing it on their Anjunadeep Edition mix earlier this year!

“Still Linger In My Dreams” is another beautiful piece of soulful and melodic dance music that shows Cubicolor at their most cinematic. Sweeping percussion combines with another gorgeous vocal loop, surrounded by deft textures and intricate production.

“A New High” sees Cubicolor show off their darker side, with a dancefloor orientated tech house weapon heard recently in Dom Donnelly’s Anjunadeep Edition mix. Energetic percussion drives the track through to a complex breakdown which builds and builds before skilfully dropping back into the flowing bass groove.
