Federico Aubele-Ojala (Feat. Natalia Clavier)

The seed of the collective was planted in December of 2020 when the core of the collective met each other on a weekly jam session in Lisboa.

As spring was coming, the seed started to sprout when the opportunity arose of living in the countryside, in the center of Portugal at Outeiro Da Moura.
When the main tendency for everybody was to stay at home and work remotely or concentrate on their own stuff. The Krusy Fondant collective took the decision to experience life together and seclude far from their usual environment.

All those perspectives brought a very natural and organic way of living and creating.
The living room was quickly transformed into a live studio and as the lockdown continued, it opened up the opportunity to invite more musicians we met along the way to share food, culture, and visions of life.

In this time the sprout flourished and with the shared love for afrobeat and traditional Sahel music this flower bloomed into two tracks named Papa n’Aime Pas & Sahara Skit.

Troels Hammer - House Of Memories (feat. Langkilde & Abigail) - s0591

We are proud to present Jacob Gurevitsch’ new single, ‘For Your Love’, which features the venerable Cuban jazz trumpetist Arturo Sandoval.

Sandoval was a prominent figure on the international jazz scene of the 70’s and 80’s, the mentee of Dizzy Gillespie who went on to become a pioneer of latin jazz, winning four Grammy awards in his career. He is also, of course, a personal hero and lifelong influence on Jacob Gurevitsch for whom the collaboration is a dream come true. 

The track combines Gurevitsch’ Spanish guitar and Sandoval’s trumpet in a rich mood of hazy romance. The guitar leads us off and the trumpet responds, letting the whole world dissolve in its gentle dance. Drums and percussion fall like dustings of powdered sugar on top of the meandering melodies. 

‘For Your Love’ comes off Gurevitsch’ anticipated fourth album, which is to be 
released on Music For Dreams in October this year.

Jacob Gurevitsch - For Your Love (ft. Arturo Sandoval) - s0698

Del Parche Al Sampler (DPAS) is an online workshop of digital production oriented to folklore taught by producer and composer Lauphan (Rosario) and DJ and cultural manager Villa Diamante (Buenos Aires).
This compilation contains tracks composed by artists who went through the workshop during 2021, new promises of music with sensitivity between folkloric and digital.
In this alliance between Fértil and DPAS we intend to give visibility to a series of restless producers who have been investigating the language of sound mestizaje, opening the frontiers of electronic music to rhythms and sounds of roots.

From organic downtempo of La Forastera and Nayaim, to the 6/8 rhythms of Simone, the electro-folkloric song of Namirí, the urban cumbiero sound of Hachezeta to the dubby sound of Chaco Boreal, Circuitos Volátiles and Lionel, different experiments have been possible. Stay tuned for more DPAS volumes to come.
