Before relocating to Vancouver, Overland sharpened her skills in the snowy expanses of Alberta. A tireless DJ and promoter, she's hosted a score of all-nighters and club events across the city, making her mark as an enthusiastic booster of a vibrant scene. 

Her tracks embody her DJ sets, a frenetic fusion of classic techno with fresh rave sensibilities, both razor-sharp and mind-expanding in the same breath. Her ability to connect scenes and sounds from across the globe found fertile soil quickly, and releases followed on Los Angeles-based Helpful Music and Lisbon’s finest purveyor of peak-time heaters, Naive.

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:
It helps me a lot to always be mindful of why I DJ, because every now and then I can feel a little burnt out! So for me personally I know that its my way of connecting with others and sharing myself – and really an act of service. So, I try not to ever forget that DJing is an act of self-care for myself - and keeping that in mind is such a good antidote to things like negative self-talk!

DAYM. @bornefruits labelmama and LDN based @amaliahppeche let you dive in a blooming sea with a strong current, an impressive diversity and beautiful encounters with different musical creatures along the way. She kicks off her 1 hour and 11 minutes long swim with Amapiano and Gqom. Deep basslines, repetitive percussion and hard hitting toms are giving a warm welcome that you want to receive with open arms. The pinging electroid rhythms that follow evolve smoothly into light-footed and playful hypnotising dancefloor voodoo. Throaty acidic plunges and threatening acid bass throbs are forcing you to dive deeper into the seas abyssal zone. After you rise back to shallow waters you're comfortably wandering between intimate colourful coral reefs where loopy chopped vocals, bumpy breaks and punching house are leading the way. If you listen closely you will hear the ocean chants like a whispering revealing it’s mysteries.
