Now that COVID-19 has made thinking about death and living more accessible, I made an album on gameboy based on the concept of escaping from the desire to live and die.

For the artwork, I asked my favorite pixel artist toyoya to draw two rooms (a bright room and a dark room) in pixel art on one artwork.

Because in COVID-19, the more people in a room, the more you have to be aware of death when moving from room to room, and I wanted to immerse myself in the music even in such situations.
I also wanted to be able to express the feeling of being alive and dead in two rooms.

And since I alternated between sunny and not-so-sunny rooms in my home to make this album, I thought the album artwork and title would be a good fit.


COVID-19で死や生きることを考えることが身近になった今、「生きたい」「死にたい」という欲望からの脱却をコンセプトに、ゲームボーイでアルバムを作りました。

アートワークは、大好きなピクセルアーティストのtoyoyaさんにお願いして、1つのアートワークに2つの部屋（明るい部屋と暗い部屋）をピクセルアートで描いてもらいました。

というのも、COVID-19では部屋の中にいる人数が多いほど、部屋から部屋へ移動する際に死を意識しなければならないので、そんな状況でも音楽に没頭したいと思ったからです。

あとは、2つの部屋の中で生きているときと死んでいるときの感覚を表現できるようにしたかったのです。

そして、このアルバムを作るために自宅の中で日当たりの良い部屋とそうでない部屋を交互に行ったり来たりしていたので、アルバムのアートワークとタイトルがしっくりくると思いました。
