Egokind & Ozean is the project of two Berlin-based electronic music producers and sound aesthetes. During their studies of audio design, they merged their previous band backgrounds with an in-depth knowledge for rich arrangements while establishing Egokind & Ozean into a DJ duo as well as a live act. Releasing their first album „Transition“ in 2014, they were introduced as „Berlin’s new electronic generation of producers“ (Mixmag) convincing with a „prosperous debut LP“ (Groove Mag) by creating „intricately detailed electronic hybrids“ (XLR8R) between UK-infected house, dreamy ambient soundscapes, emotional electronica and deep techno grooves.

Jacob Korn from Dresden, Germany was born in the early 80's. His sound is influenced by Kraftwerk and the sound of 90's techno and house music. He has been producing electronic music of different flavours for what seems like an eternity. Early on in his career he combined Hip Hop and Techno with elements of Jazz and weird electronics under the Granufunk moniker.

Once he turned his attention to more classical but versatile house and techno stylings he chose to go by his given name. Jacob Korn continually experiments in new recordingstyles and production techniques, while developing his own music tools for cross mediaarts and interactive performances.

He played live in clubs and at festivals in Japan (Ageha-Tokyo, Triangle-Osaka), Chile (Mutek-Santiago), Uruguay (Soco-Montevideo), Canada (Mutek-Montrel, New Forms-Vancouver, RBMA-Toronto), USA (HoneySound-San Francisco, Mr.Sunday-NYC) Spain (Sonár Festival-Barcelona), Norway, Denmark (Dunkel-Copenhagen), Netherlands (Sugar Factory, Picnic at Night-Amsterdam), Sweden, Switzerland (Zukunft-Zürich), Austria and Germany (Panoramabar/Berghain,  Watergate, About/Blank, Kleine Reise-Berlin, Ego and Übel und Gefährlich-Hamburg, Robert Johnson-Offenbach, Bob Beaman-München, CynetartFestival-Dresden, MELT!-Festival Nachtdigital Festival).

Jacob Korn released his debut album, different EPs and remixes under various names on international Labels like Astrolab, Running Back, Permanent Vacation, Basic Soul Units "Left of the dial" and Panorama Bar Resident Steffis "Dolly"-Imprint. New Releases for Uncanny Valley are coming this year, so keep your ears pricked up.
