We are thrilled to welcome Ras Algethi back to the label with his latest 2 track 'Cirque EP'. With previous outings on ICONYC, Lost on You and Art Vibes Music to name a few, the Russian producer is no stranger to the scene with his driving melodic progressive influenced productions. We kick things off with the outstanding opening track 'Herculesus' a stunning driving melodic techno affair, that employs a deep groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown before unleashing into a rising melodic hook that climaxes into the highpoint of the track as the full force of percussive drive and harmonies combine to see out this great opener. Exciting and essential stuff! Next up Ras drops the outstanding title track 'Cirque'; that starts to delve into deeper more melodic territory, which sees lush pads fused with chord hits highlighted by Ras Algethi's trademark bass patterns, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field that find the right balance between house and techno to make it an ideal all-round weapon. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking. With pounding melodic arrangements that are so warm and driving, Ras Algethi underpins his status as a true craftsman with the excellent 'Cirque EP', which is certain to find its way into the playlists of the big-name brigade. A vivid sonic palette glows brightly from a cathedral of sound created by Fernando Olaya. A subterranean bassline from the depths of the Zapiqura salt mines radiates in warm tones. An echo to a French electronic icon reverberates through "Ethnicolor", sparkling arpeggios ripple outwards in gloriously emotive patterns and sumptuous underlying melody, bound together with driving rhythm and syncopated percussion. A charismatic array of sounds appears "Face to Face" communicating a powerful symbiotic relationship between rhythm and melody. A collage of counterpoint motifs provides aural intrigue and a central phrase pierces with powerful intent.

Matching a rapid upward trajectory to the soaring glass-fronted skyscrapers of Tim Penner's Toronto home, glittering shards of sound ripple in sunlit patterns through a new "Ethnicolor". Subtle variation reflects a central melodic framework as trademark groove and attention to detail reveal poise and power in perfect harmony. A Colombian duo reprises their partnership as Dabeat and Juan Pablo Torrez come "Face to Face" once more. A symphony of sounds collides across a study in perfect communication as the effect of mutual cooperation reveals sumptuous bassline groove and subtle melodic cues.

Two of the most exciting progressive house producers from the USA carry the weight of the latest MNL release as Kaspar Tasane drops two brand new originals and Kai Castro joins on remix duties.

Kasper Tasane has been making name for himself in the past five years by putting out a strong run of high quality progressive house releases in his own distinctive sound. His productions always sound fresh and airy, and have got that kinda trancey vibe going on as you'll hear whilst listening to his latest two productions 'Mirrormask' and 'Spellbinder'. Pure bliss!

Kai Castro is a fast emerging talent from Austin, Texas who first entered the scene two years ago. He takes on 'Mirrormask' and got so inspired by the song that he decided two make two totally different but equally cool interpretations. The first remix is a nice progressive dreamer whilst the 'Afterhours Dub' sounds like a timeless deep tech tune, a proper heady one.
