Hailing from Tyler, TX, Finding Iris is comprised of brothers Cody and Will Hunter and Justin Ratliff. Cody, Will, and Justin have been playing together for many years in various projects. The band’s sound is heavily influenced by several alt-rock powerhouse acts, such as Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Incubus, and 10 Years. Combining deep and insightful lyrics with intricate, assertive guitar work, Finding Iris’s music resonates with everyone on life’s journey. After gaining experience and honing their sound, Finding Iris was noticed by producer Travis Wyrick, a 3 time Dove Award Winner and Grammy Award Nominee who has collaborated with the likes of P.O.D., 10 Years, Pillar, Disciple, and others. They worked with him to produce their first full length album, We The Moon, recorded at Wyrick’s own Lakeside Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee. We The Moon marks the band’s first foray onto the commercial music scene. Finding Iris’s first single, “We The Moon,” released in June of 2013, followed by the full album later that summer. Jesse Hasek, frontman of 10 Years, lends his voice to the second single, entitled “Reviving.” Finding Iris makes a strong statement with We The Moon as they forge their place in the music industry.
