Smashed Atoms & Kathy Diamond make a most welcome return to the Hot Digits stable with a tasty two-part tray bake of special remix treatment applied to their 2020 hit ‘Lifted’. 

The Smashed Atoms Dub leaps out as an expertly de-constructed version of the original. The dreamy, filtered vocals and echo attack ebbs and flows perfectly, whilst the beat, bass and synth loops massage your aural senses into submission. 

Next comes the Adam Nova Remix, which from the get-go wants to beat you into dance floor submission.  The hard, driving disco bass, solid 4x4 beat and slick rhythm guitar transports you to that time and place where you’re throwing your hands in the air with complete strangers. Peak time disco candy floss. 

Closing this incredible release is equally incredible I Gemin remix. Like a Roisin Murphy fever dream, I Gemin takes us on a swingy, squelchy, housey rollercoaster that tingles, delights and astounds with its bare faced cheek. Definitely one for the ‘dance until dawn’ heads out there. 

With the 2023 remixes of ‘Lifted’ Hot Digits has pushed the envelope yet again and the label continues its seemingly endless supply of quality productions.
