Wākhan Project is a time-traveler from the year 3040. Inhabitant of a city called Kalapa. Kalapa was once a lively metropolis, today it is a jungle perched on ruins. The few inhabitants live in harmony with nature. There is only one remaining language in the world, Malaka. Wakhan Project sits down with us and tells his story, in this foreign language, and yet we understand every single word without any problems.

As suddenly as Wākhan Project appears on our farm, as suddenly he disappears again. AmuAmu & Timboletti look at each other in amazement before they decide to carry on with these extraordinary exciting stories in their own words.

Sometimes, when we are browsing randomly through Soundcloud, either by a sequential track or station radio, or even by random play on tracks of different profiles, we come across something that draws attention. That was how the invitation for Frederika happened, the French DJ and Music Lead at Collectif Funki Safari is always cooking and sharing mixes filled up with dynamism, sonic mixture and mainly for her specificity in connecting electronic music and original world tracks — resulting in a melodic and transcendental fusion gathered in a way that creates an aura of mystery and enigma that enables most players to keep guessing until the end moment. 

Hanging over the connections to Mother Earth and our ancestors, through almost one hour, Frederika flavored this 174th edition with visceral voices, condensed atmospheres and several instruments as percussion and Didgeridoo — also incorporating original ethnic & shamanic tracks from around the world. The outcome is definitely alive and pulsing, at the very least: engaging. Spread right-minded vibes, make bodies dance and souls flow - as she used to say.

The lotus fruits and flowers were the primary food of the lotus-eaters. A tribe of people who lived on the island where Odysseus and his crew are forced to land after being pushed by a storm while on their return journey to Ithaca.
As a consequence of the plant's narcotic properties, this tribe lived in a perpetual state of bliss and euphoria.
'Odyssey Lotus' is an experience of a voyage through crystal grooves with motion bass lines and analog melodies, organic and synthetic sounds layered together while exploring sound design synthesis.
