This deep, slow, sexy set was made for my incredible partner, JJ, who turned 40 just a few weeks ago. Generally finding his groove to slower, darker beats, I channeled my inner Mira to craft an intimate 2-hour set that brings in a mix of organic instruments, melodic, downtempo beats, and of course, Berlin soul. I threw in a few tracks from some of his favorite artists as well ;) Full of emotion, grit, sexiness, a bit of nostalgia and deep, full-hearted love, I hope you find yourself grooving and moving to this very special set made for my favorite person on earth <3

Der Verstand ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil und stetiger Begleiter des Menschen. Zur Bestreitung des Alltags benötigen wir permanent seine Unterstützung. Er hilft uns morgens aus dem Bett, wenn die Schule, Uni oder die Arbeit ruft. Er motiviert uns auch tägliche Hygieneroutinen einzuhalten und er fordert ein gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild ein. Es ist ihm wichtig was andere Menschen über uns denken und das ist auch gut so. Darüber hinaus nutzen wir ihn bei Denksport Aufgaben aller Art. Er ist derjenige, der sich die mathematischen Formeln und grammatikalischen Gesetzmäßigkeiten merkt und ab speichert. Der Verstand übernimmt so viele Aufgaben, dass wir manchmal vergessen das er nur ein Werkzeug ist. Denn neben all den positiven Eigenschaften kann der Verstand auch sehr penetrant und anstrengend sein. Besonders wenn wir mit anderen Individuen in Kontakt treten, kann seine beschützende und fürsorgliche Art störend sein. Er will zwar das beste für uns, doch seine Methoden sind oft mangelhaft. Selbstzweifel und Ängste sind eine Möglichkeit mit der uns beschützen möchte. Dann setzt er regelrechte Gedankenstrudel frei, welche durchaus hemmend wirken können. In diesen Momenten gilt es ihm Einhalt zu gebieten. Denn er wird vorrangig auf altbewährte Verhaltensmuster zurückgreifen wollen, Spontanität und Ausbrüche aus der Gewohnheit sind nicht so sein Ding. Hier kommst du ins Spiel. Mache dir bewusst, du bist mehr. Du bist das ewige Sein, welches völlig losgelöst von deinem Verstand funktionieren und agieren kann. Nimm dir das Geschenk des Augenblicks und koste ihn aus. Genieße die pure Freude und Dankbarkeit der Existenz und mache den jetzigen Moment zu deinem Highlight. Aller Anfang ist schwer, doch es ist nie zu spät, sich seiner selbst wieder zu ermächtigen. 

Der heutige Podcast ist ein Liverecording vom diesjährigen Feel Festival. Zusammengestellt und performent wurde das Set von der im Bremen beheimateten Künstlerin Konfusia. Die aufstrebende Produzentin verzeichnet bereits einige Veröffentlichungen auf namenhaften Labels, sowie Auftritte in Clubs und Festivals in ganz Deutschland oder auch in Portugal. 
Für die Festivalbesucher des Feel hat sie stilgerecht ein regelrechtes Techno-Blitzgewitter in Gang gesetzt. Treibende Basslines, energische Synth-Shots und hypnotische Leads Sounds bilden gemeinsam ein orchestralen, elektronischen Hochgenuss. Das Wesen der Kreativität 

Kreativität gilt als eine allseits geschätzte Fähigkeit, welche seit jeher ebenso so viele Fragen aufwirft, wie auch beantwortet. Grundlegend ist Kreatvität immer mit einen Schaffensprozess verknüpft. Das kann sowohl auf künstlerischer Ebene, als auch im  alltagspraktischen oder beruflichen Kontext stattfinden. In jedem Fall wird etwas neues geschaffen oder bereits bestehendes in anderer Form reproduziert. Der Abschluss eines kreativen Impulses oder Prozesses mündet immer in einem objektifizierbarem Ergebnis. Anderenfalls handelt es sich um ein bloßes Gedankenspiel. 
Doch warum fällt es manchen Individuuen verhältnismäßig leicht sich kreativ auszudrücken und anderen schwer? Ein kreativer Prozess benötigt für seine Vollendung einen Flow-Zustand. Dieser kann nicht erzwungen werden, sondern muss sich vielmehr wie von selbst einstellen. Dafür brauch der Kreativschaffende Zeit und Raum. Die Gedanken müssen frei fließen können und das Individuum offen für prozesshafte Eingebungen sein. Erlaubt sich der Kreative von vorgegebenen Konzepten abzuweichen und sich voll und ganz fallen zu lassen? Öffnet er sich für die Zufälle, welche sich im Laufe eines Prozesses ergeben und dadurch ein universelles, intutitv verständliches Werk erzeugen. 

Bei dem Podcast von zhart handelt es sich um ein sanft-treibendes Downtempo Exemplar. Energetisch und zugleich melodisch präsentiert sich sowohl der Künstler, als auch sein Machwerk von der besten Seite. Die einzelnen Passagen stimulieren unterschiedliche Emotionen und bilden in ihrer Gesamtheit doch eine klar hörbare Einheit.

Sinneswandel is back and this time not as a party organizer, as we have known it for almost 25 years, but with a very special podcast series.

New year - new set! :DDD
With this spontaneous musical journey I wish you all a loving and truthful year 2021. What exciting times...without words. In the last few months my personal musical output wasn't been really in focus as I prepared myself for a self-sufficient future. Actually, I've been waiting and preparing for this scenario for half my life. I’m very grateful and so it was a great pleasure to play a spontaneous New Year's Eve set on the beautiful Costa de la Luz - Andalusia with a small caravan-tribe after a long time of not playing live. I didn't expect it to unfold so phääät. It all felt into place so nicely... and so some happy, colorful off-grid-lovers came together and created a welcoming space. At 8pm I sat down to my promo emails, some collected songs from the past two months and went through a few unreleased Monada gems from our awesome artists and at 10pm I was ready for a completely improvised journey. I love mixing sets with tracks that are almost unknown to me, so I'm able to start completely untethered and free. Free mind - free heart!
Et voilà.. here is my deep trippy slowtech New Year’s Eve mix à la San Miguel. :))) Okay, before I write a novel here.... enjoy the set & much fun listening.
