Valkyrie Biography:
MorganaAmaral AKA Valkyrie. Natural from Pernambuco, Recife, she is 32 years old and lives in the Netherlands. Her interest in the psytrance world started in 2008 when she fell in love with festivals and the music genre. 

Then, in 2016, she decided to create her first DJ set, Valkyrie.

With her new persona, she had the opportunity to share the decks with big artists, such as Michelle Adamson, Bubble, Talamasca, Sesto Sento, and many others. Having her origins in very traditional sounds, she ́s well known for her psychedelic mixes in the Fullon genre, always telling a story and bringing a lot of energy to the dancefloora in her sets, which may vary from Fullon groove to Fullon night!

Currently representing Sonitum Records and Wav Bookings agency (as Dj and booker).

This is my set from the incredible PSYMERA Christmas Special at 93 Feet East in Shoreditch, London. Headliners Volcano and Imagine Mars (and their duo Volcano on Mars) came all the way from Israel to see what the London scene has to offer and the party was an absolute belter with every single act / DJ playing out of their skin. 16 hours of mayhem with a mint sound system, stellar decor from Mellonskop and the friendliest crowd. Psychedelica 009 - Inner Space

Started mixing back in 2002 with a pair of belt-driven Geminis and a 2-Channel Numark, and learnt to play the hard way at after-party sessions, plugged into a wide-screen television! A few thousand hours of obsessive playing and tinkering later (and a few equipment upgrades)...

Over the last few years: rotating resident at dance:love:hub and a variety of gigs: The Butterfly Effect, Tribal Village, SecretSoma, UFO/Unique Tribe, Psyrhythmix, PSYMERA, J00F Editions, Planet Angel, Trancelucid, Inertia (Brighton), Transcend and Psyology (Birmingham).

A sound that blends a love of  melodies with darker-edged underground sounds, playing a range of styles and genres from atmospheric and progressive techno, through progressive house and underground trance to progressive and full-on progressive psy.

Having a bit of hiatus at the moment due to becoming a daddy...may be back in a year or two! :D
