This piece was composed before I climbed the famous mountain "Suilven" near Lochinver on Scotland's West Coast. I had been wanting to climb in for years; it was calling out to me! When I eventually reached the summit, it was simply stunning. 
This tune is in the key of F sharp minor, which I think adds a haunting and hypnotic air to the piece.
