Welcome Down The Rabbit Hole

Recorded last year my first notes on this track when mixed started with the word 'madness'.
Somewhat refined by editing the structure is ABCBDBEBB...
'B' could represent both bridge and breakdown...the heart of the piece and the initial musings on a alto sax/flute riff that sort of drifted off into improvised ramblings.
Other sections feature flute solo, melodica/synth, distorted clarinet and soprano sax in celtic mode and rumbling triple tongued bass-effect alto sax.
Behind it all (somewhere) is a chugging thai violin. 
Still somewhat crazy.

Thommo's inspiration that began as "Dream Catching", then "Dancing on the Veranda", is now "Waiting" with the addition of Bix singing the love-lyrics of his wife Darcy; and just in time for Valentine's Day. Hi everybody, been having a rummage through the loft space and came across this is original blast from the past electronic garage track that was recorded at Manchester Midi School here in the UK back in 1998 and was composed and produced by myself and DJ Raw, so i brushed off the spider webs and it worked great, the track was composed on an Atari 1040ste with 1 meg of Ram and an old monochrome monitor and has made me feel real old lol Hope you enjoy! Fading Into Light - Deep House Music

When https://soundcloud.com/dneye asked me for a track to play his fantastic guitars on, I brainstormed this 5/4 piece with odd chord set in order to make it difficult to him and thus get the best from his skills. After programming it, I added some organic solos (yep I played keys) to make it seem more friendly ;))))

And he... succeeded in the challenge, overcoming all my expectations !!!

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests.
