Laz Green, one half of the binary nexus of Rochester's Hip Hop Fusion Juggernauts Subsoil, teams with his hombres from round the way, The Nummskulls, for an epic tag team of titanic proportions.  Laz has solidified his voice into one of visceral snarkiness, providing hilarious imagery, scathing wit and insight, as well as sincere reflection, often at the same time. While still sticking with the subject matter that is his usual Subsoil MO, Laz branches out into new territory on this release, including what he calls his "epic nerdery". 

NoBot and J Russ form The Nummskullz, weaving eclectic sonic terrain for Laz to burrow through, evoking Beatnuts, El-P, MF DOOM and J Dilla. 

With features from Fellow Subsoil emcee Moon.Roc, Pounds,  Jack Brown from Sophistafunk,  Puppet The Grimey, and more, this long in the making album will be available for download in the FALL of 2014! 

I have been playing drums for 26 years, guitar and bass for roughly 12, and I have been making digital music on my computer for the last ten years.  Most of the tracks I have uploaded to Soundcloud have been made through Garageband on my Macbook, I cannot express the depth to which I am grateful for the power Apple's electronics and software has put in my hands.

I have been legally blind since birth, you can imagine, for some time, computers were a real challenge for me, however, I found that the Macbook has everything I need and enough power to do it all at once from screen magnifiers to screen readers to Garageband which is frankly ten times better than the recording software I learned to work with in college (Saw Pro).  It has taken an awful lot of encouragement on the part of my friends and family to become confident enough to get my art and music out there, so I devote all of these songs to them!

I began making primarily heavy metal music, which, as you can probably tell is still a strong influence on me and my style, mix in a little progressive rock and my new found love for jam bands and what you have is a stew, but I don't eat stew, lol, I prefer to think of it as a candy dish!

As well as a guitarist for PANDA! since January 2011, Dan has played a variety of instruments with many other groups throughout his career. In the winter of 2012, he set out on a venture to record his own music. The rest is up to the universe...
