Chris, 41, is a techno enthusiast and producer based in St Austell, Cornwall. Influenced by the likes of 
Dave the Drummer , Lorn, Rone, and Carl Cox, he tries to craft deep, hypnotic sounds  that blend dark atmospheres with driving energy. Passionate about pushing sonic boundaries, he is dedicated to creating immersive electronic soundscapes that resonate on and off the dance floor. He also has a healthy appreciation for deep tech, incorporating its groovy, minimalistic elements into his productions.

His passion for electronic music was shaped by early influences like Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Vangelis. The rise of synth-pop and new wave in the ’80s—featuring Depeche Mode, New Order, The Human League, and OMD—deepened his appreciation for synth-driven soundscapes. By the ’90s, the energy of The Prodigy, Underworld, and The Chemical Brothers, along with the experimental sounds of Aphex Twin, Orbital, Boards of Canada, and The KLF, broadened his sonic palette. Over time, this passion evolved into a deep interest in hard techno, particularly the raw, driving sound of the underground scene.

Chris also produces music under the moniker Den_Ver (But not so often as the melodic bear is almost always in hibernation... lazy sod!

I'm a bit of a bedroom producer, I make the music I like when I like and how I like. I play piano (well enough to say I play piano) and own saxes as well. I don't sample, I write everything I make - usually by sitting infront of an instrument and playing till I find something I like the sound of. I have no false aspirations of being 'famous', It be great if one person likes one of my tracks!

Been a wanna be dj for most of my life, have had some lucky breaks playing out, stopped dj'ing around 15 years ago for one reason or another, missed it too much & now I'm back for as long as I keep enjoying it. 
If your wondering how I got the name, one early morning back in the day, a friend said "The music you play is just what the doctor ordered..." and the name just stuck....
