Like the sign sez, these tracks are collaborations. Me and somebody else.

They come in all forms:
 - My remixes of other folks tracks;
 - Other folks' remixes of my tracks;
 - Other folks' instrumentals that I've added lyrics and/or vocals to;
 - My instrumentals that other folks have added lyrics or vocals to (I lied: none of these yet!);
and
 - True collaborative efforts, involving contributions from me and somebody else.

Many of these are under the "band" name "epiphany algorithm", which is me and Scott Kauffman (AKA: Current Device).

In all cases, I've tried to provide appropriate credits.

25APR2016: Another experiment in spoken word with accompanying sounds... This one started out many years ago as an Idea for an illustrated poem (See song image), but just a few days ago while enduring security theatre on a transcontinental flight for my real job, I was inspired to turn it into something else.... My intent is not to ridicule or offend, but only to share...

Words:

Madonna In The Bath

Across America
In our backyards
We're building temples
out of plumbing fixtures

The Madonna smiles
Her arms outstretched
From the shelter of discarded porcelain

Oh sweet Mother of God
We beseech you:
Protect us from ourselves

Oh divine mystery of life
We know only that we need acknowledge you

We hang compact audio discs
From rearview mirrors
Flashing  blindingly
Like lighthouse beacons
Tracking unknown danger
Like defensive lasers 
restlessly seeking targets
The vast amounts of information
Stored on them
Act as a powerful charm
Warding off what threatens us
Otherwise useless
In the age of the cloud

Our mobile phones unite us
And bind us
And center our lives

Interactive totems
Each personalized and decorated
And loaded with Apps that define us and help us
With the difficulties and tribulations of our daily lives

We put our faith in the makers of these talismans
And in the providers of our coverage
Such that we may never need be alone or powerless
As we navigate the dangers of our lives

Heads bowed, we focus our thoughts
And our energies
On Twitter, Facebook, Kindle, Tumblr, Pinterest and Kwazy Kupkakes
Each to his own needs and abilities

We flock to flashmobs
And navigate unfamiliar neighborhoods
Secure in the knowledge
That differential global positioning will guide us and lead the way

Airport Security Line:

TSA Agent belligerently shouting instructions
As if he were addressing recruits in a military boot camp:
"All persons ages 13 though 74 must remove their shoes!"
"All laptops must be removed from their cases and placed in a separate bin!"

He has repeated the holy words hundreds of times today already
But pauses mid-declaration, lost for words...
Memory has failed
A colleague prompts him "...water..." from behind the full-body scanner
"Throw away any bottled water!"
The litany has been preserved
And the waiting passengers all feel relief 
that the circle remains unbroken 
and that harm will continue to be kept at bay

The shouting TSA Agent approaches me
As I dutifully and reverently place my laptop into its own bin
He quietly asks my permission
- As if I could possibly refuse the gallant defender -
And at my nod, raises my laptop in its bin in supplication and loudly intones:
"This is a laptop computer!"
"The laptop is in a bin all by itself with nothing else!"
The TSA Agent places my laptop in its bin
Back on the scanner belt
Exactly as I had placed it

He looks up at me and our eyes momentarily lock
I seize the opportunity, knowing full well there may be consequences and say "Now everyone will think you're angry with me..." 
Smiling,
Hoping he understands...

He narrows his gaze as if preparing to deliver ritual chastisement
Then his face brightens as he tries to hide a smirk
And the "service" resumes

I feel elation
To be able to participate in the ceremony of Security Theatre
And to remind us both of our shared humanity

Later...

Jamie Farr is seated at the front of the plane
The flight is completely full

We are blessed, Corporal Klinger by your presence and protection

This will be a good day.

Wanted something to snap me out of the bleak reality of life under Trump... Went with a fusion of Early Genesis, Flock of Seagulls, and (according to my wife) U2...
