Recorded live on Jan 28, 2023 at Dolly Disco in Vancouver.  This is the first time we've played an all night B2B together and it ended up being one of most fun times either of us have had DJing.  We played 6 hours from open to close. This recording captures the arch of energy throughout the night, the spontaneity of trading 3 for 3, the imperfections/perfections of a live set and connection between dance floor and DJ. We're very happy to feature London Zoo's very own DJ Matt Frost in our Easter Special with an all things UK Rap & Hip Hop selection and a worthy chunk of Drum&Bass persies thrown in at the end for good measure! Hailing from North West London - Matt Frost has been on the Underground UK circuit since his early teenage years. Originally a player in the Jungle Drum n Bass world, in 2006 he changed his hand to Experimental beats and Hip Hop. He's an original member of LDZ ( London Zoo) & Tour DJ for Dabbla from Potent Funk Records. In recent years Frost has also become Tour DJ for Blah Records' Boss Lee Scott.
Production wise Frost has a slew of releases & forthcoming ing material with old time Friend and legendary UK Dj / Producer Sumgii from PewPewBaumBaum Records.
Matt also Host’s his own monthly Radio Show on London’s Subtle Radio (since 2021) and continues to be a go to DJ For Cuts n scratches by the likes of Sonnyjim , King Kashmere, Dolenz ,Cimm, Black Josh to name but a few. @swisherman is a Gadigal Land/Sydney-based DJ, producer, and a mind behind DUNJ, one of his city's most revered and respected promoters. When he's not helping to platform some of Gadigal Land or the world's most forward-thinking electronic music, swisherman is contributing to that tapestry himself.

'ONSET' is his latest release, a moody, dark and spacious descent into the backrooms of any DIY space whose location has yet to be revealed. Luscious pads are met with gated ambience, while a growling step of bass bounces off the crisp snap of a snare.

Like much of his work, this is a tour through swisherman's audio-guided mind palace, paying homage to many of the people he's helped to bring to his home. It snaps, to say the least.

Opening the lake stage at Dragon Dreaming was such a moment in time! Dragon is both the first party I ever went to since moving to Australia, and also my all time fave. The land, the crew, and the community is unbeatable 🐉✨

I poured a lot of love and intention into this set, veering away from my darker sets I've been playing lately to offer something spacious to welcome in this year's Dragon! This set covers a lot of ground, rooted in psytech but dipping into some tech house and prog. I knew this party would have so much epic music to come, and wanted my set to be an appetiser to the different energy and music you might find while exploring the rest of the festival. I’m pretty happy having landed with a set fully of groovy rollers, with a whisper of the mystical.

So grateful to have shared this moment with an amazing dancefloor 🖤🖤 thanks so much for listening!
