Burning Man 2023 Sunrise Set

Vol 10 in our long-running mix series, with interview snippets and remixes that tell the continuing saga of our musical obsession. Edited and remixed by @roxanneroll with an exclusive from @twinsunmusic (Castaway) and a banger of an edit of the Little Lies Jellybean extended mix by @grooveterminator. While always a celebration, it felt especially important in this mix to pay homage to Christine McVie after her passing. After more than 12 years of this project, people often ask us if we are tired of Fleetwood Mac? Hell no. The well of inspiration runs dark and deep, and we have miles to go before we sleep.

For context, it was midnight in a warehouse in San Francisco, filled with fun friends, who were ready to go, so we exchanged vibes and I genre-hopped around as per usual. Fleetmac Wood VOL 6 Rumours Rave

Thanks to all the happy faces who stayed up all night or who set their dusty alarm clocks to come and dance with us Wednesday morning. Having been on the other side of the speakers for many a sunrise it was a treasured moment to play this music, which holds a lot of emotions for many of us.

We want to thank Fleetwood Mac for the original magic and Robot Heart for creating the opportunity to crank it loud and proud. The edits and remixes included were created by us (Roxanne Roll and Smooth Sailing) and many of our producer friends who we’d like to thank for their work and passion: Psychemagik, In Flagranti, Antenna Happy, Twin Sun, Dean Kenny, Youth Edits, Cosmic Kids and Trail Mix.

We hope you can feel the warm sunshine and hearts, see the great expanse of desert and feel that all possibilities are open to you when you listen to this mix. These were the wonderful feelings we had while we were playing.

Fleetmac Wood - Robot Heart 10 Year Anniversary - Burning Man 2017

As the quarantine due to covid 19 enters it's third week, this Facebook livestream set was recorded in celebration of two amazing people, Tony and David.  We were supposed to have a proper party in San Francisco, but instead we got put on our best outfits for a zoom party.  Yacht music has always been one of my favorites, although I never owned a yacht, but one can dream.
