Just a few months after the release of MTT005 with Desert Island Disco, Mister T. records are pleased to announce their first compilation welcoming recognized and emerging artists from 5 different countries, united by their love of electronic music. The compilation is split in two sides : Musica Per Ballare - the first Volume - built around the love of Italo influences and Musica Para Bailar - the 2nd Volume - made with balearic aesthetics.

On the Adriatic side of the compilation, the label welcomes two producers already known by MTT followers as Sim Fossil was at the center of the 4th release of the label and Nicolas Kotowicz already contributed to the Paradise Edits project. However, the EP opens with Black Feeling “Stomper”, a modern happy Italo anthem with a strong classic bassline boosted by an overpowering synth choir.
The second track of the EP, “Coastal Night”, is a tribute to more sentimental Italo tunes and the first production of Nicolas Kotowicz. The precision and depth of Nicolas’ sounds make this tune an incredible tool for parties and podcasts.
Musica Per Ballare’s last track steps a bit aside from the classic vision of Italo with dirtier samples and Sim Fossil’s special spacy pads. Yet, “Zero Action” brings the compilation to an end on a perfect note with a banger track for clubs mixing Italo’s beauty with house efficiency.

For Club Mackan's next release, we have two supercharged tracks by the Italian duo Dog.ma with two equally charged remixes by Louis de Tomaso and Brandski. 

What do you get when you have four supercharged tracks within an electromagnetic field? You get electromagnetism. Or, in this case, you get 'Elettromagnetismo' since our tracks are fully charged with Italo disco, every single one of them!

As in true 80s fashion, both Elettromagnetismo and Darpah are charged with driving basslines, catchy one-finger melodies and vocal-sounding synthesisers. Darpah tends to feel a little more melodic with its beautiful chord progression, while Elettromagnetismo is energetic and straightforward. 

Louis de Tomaso's remix gives Elettromagnetismo even more of an electric feel. True to the original, but with his own style, it's safe to say that Louis's remix is supercharged. 

If the original tracks were made in true 80s fashion, then Brandski's remix is not just in true 80s fashion. It's the definition of it. With a classic rolling Italo bassline, Brandski's remix gives Darpah even more of an authentic 80s feeling than the original.

Flemming Dalum, also know as King of the cut, discovered his musical journey at an early age. An interest based out of curiosity for electronic synthesizer legends emerging while he grew up. With his first synth, the Korg Polysix, a lifelong passion was born. He started playing in bands in 1982, experimenting with electronics and the new world of sounds and possibilities. At the same time he started experimenting with records and discovered a natural talent for mixing and blending synths with records, creating his own unique world of sound. In mind that the CD wasn't invented, neither was the HD recorder, the heart in Flemmings set-up was a simple cassette recorder. An invention that should soon add yet another angle to his musical universe. With snappy skills and imagination, the cassette soon became his most important instrument taking him to the next level. The world of mixing. With sampler, echomachine, decks, synths and a beloved cassette recorder, the first true mixes came out of his studio already in 1983. Mixes with so much detail, soon giving him the legendary name "King of the cut". In the same year, 1983, Flemming stumbled across Koto "Chinese Revenge", a discovery that should soon lead Flemming into a brave new world matching his own, with synths and electronics being the heart of the music. The passion became strong and shortly after the Koto discovery, brought him to his first trip to Milan, Il Discotto, Discomagic, Non-Stop, Merak etc. to investigate the Italo phenomenon in detail. The following years Flemming visited the Italian distributors 11 times which later proves to be one of the major reasons to the fact that he has one of the worlds most complete collections of Italo and Disco. Through the years, the synths has been replaced with computers and equipment matching the urge for mixing. Something that has kept the true Italo spirit alive and made Flemming Dalum a legend in mixing today.
