Quietude in the midst of chaos, confusion, uncertainty, and restlessness; Seagull captures an Eden-like vision of tranquility and reflection.  It also came with a surprise he kept securely under his hat; I would be joined in the collaboration with him by two of my favorite SC artists, Ed Cunningham and Dan-t, masters of their genre. I didn't know until he unveiled the finished product.  My approach turned out to be "less is more" so I show up to the party fashionably late at just past the 2:00 mark, but what a lovely party...and vision.  I hope you think so too. just an example —-I’ll try to keep it simple
first I choose a topic ——then I add a beat
if the beat is kicking ————sweet
Then listen to the music ——get into the groove
grab my mic —-sound check——- I approve
Match my topic to the beat line by line
listen to the kick—- and then drops my rhymes
Sometimes a freestyle then I played back
eliminate the bullshit and drop a new track
cause idea to action is where I come from
From concept to execution flawlessly done
now turn up the volume we’re about to have fun
Bob your head to the beat —-dumb Diddy dumb dumb
if you’re wearing headphones then turn them up loud
back to back mega tracks just raining from the cloud
i throw a little swagger on each and every verse
when I’m done they all sound rehearsed

Putting out hip-hop to its highest degree
scrutinizing each track for pure quality
started with nothing and creating pure power
something you can count on in the darkest hour
is the spirit of the music that rocks the nation
so listen up closely to my little narration
An addiction to hip-hop is my declaration
my fixation to music is a total education
rapping to the beat is my only salvation
demonstrating my skills can lead to duplication
escalate into emotional frustration
my devotion to the craft spearheads my destinations
when I rock the beat —-it’s my winning combination
That often leads to total devastation ——and then celebration
it’s a private party —-so here’s your invitation

With my good friend Dan-DT, who is a master of his musical genre, and his help with his fantastic strings, choirs, piano and not least Clara's beautiful voice to lift this little observation of fairies in the first light of the morning into something that became magical . ;)

Try to feel, experience and see this in front of you.....
When you went out into the morning light in the forest you love to walk in to find serenity, stillness and quietude, you suddenly heard quiet music, and after a few more steps, you saw them dancing and singing there in a clearing in the shimmering morning light. 
The fairies. ;)

To sit down in the soft moss and experience the joy and love they gave you with their music, dance and song, above all the beauty we are surrounded by in our world, and to bring their world into your mind, was an otherworldly experience. And a very strong realization that our earth is the only home we have, and it is our children's future. ;)

My warmest thanks to you Dan, for your friendship, and your magical musicality. You are very much appreciated in my world my friend!

My first remix for #DeLaSoulRemix25 "All Good?" feat. Chaka Khan. You cannot beat the original version which is a bonafide timeless classic, but i've made this remix feel a little looser with more of a live feel. De La Soul are one of my all time favourite groups since day one so I hope you guys are feelin this version!
