Inspired by the punk rock and dubstep events that played a role throughout his life, Rob The House (real name Robert Asaad) thrives on delivering high-energy, memorable experiences to audiences through a variety of house music sub-genres. He emerged into San Francisco’s house music scene during its 2021 reopening and has already played at a number of venues, including The Midway, 1015 Folsom, Audio, DNA Lounge and F8.

San Francisco-based DJ and artist, DJ Chinese Girl Problems, brings a rich musical heritage and eclectic energy to the decks. Her sonic journey began at age 4, trained in classical music through the guzheng, an ancient Chinese string instrument. This deep foundation in traditional sound gives her sets a unique soulfulness that transcends genre.

Since stepping into the underground scene in 2020, she’s carved out her space spinning organic house, deep house, bass, and multi-genre blends that defy expectation and ignite dance floors. Her sound weaves earthy textures with deep, driving rhythms—balancing heady atmospheres with body-moving grooves.

A regular presence in San Francisco’s club scene, DJ Chinese Girl Problems has held residencies at iconic venues including The Endup, Monarch, Asiento, and Lions Den, where she’s cultivated a loyal following drawn to her genre-fluid, emotionally resonant sets.

Inspired by a wide spectrum of artists—from CloZee, Zhu, and Nora En Pure, to Rezz, Pink Floyd, and Skrillex—her style bridges the gap between the ethereal and the explosive. Expect a journey each time: textured, unexpected, and deeply felt.
