Originally conceived back in 2022 during a short return to NZ, the duo got straight down to business dealing up latest offering ‘Wanna B Down’ ; jointly crafted & mixed down on a Mackie 24.8 Bus analog console retaining that trueschool, authentic feel.

'Wanna B Down’ opens with lush, sweeping pads and dubbed out vocal licks, setting the tone during the intro before launching into cut up breakbeat territory & thumping sub bass; abundant in energetic motivation for any dance floor!

Hey, just wanted to share this new track and let you all know about this fund raising various artist compilation that just dropped.

This is "The Jah Rich Project" 

This project was put together by a group of generous artists to benefit our friend JahRich in his battle against cancer. Rich has been a long time supporter of the Jungle/Drum&Bass scene as well as an admin on the Jungletrain chat and forums. All proceeds go directly to him.
All tracks have been donated and all tracks have been mastered by Bob Macc at Subvert Central Mastering.

You have some amazing artists on this from Equinox to Dub-One, Rumbleton, Leon Mar, Ricky Force, Greenleaf, Duburban Pixl & Peeb, Krugah, myself and many more.
There is a wide range of styles on offer so there should be something for everyone on here.

My featured track on this is "The Reef" and I'm more than happy to put it on this compilation for such a worthy cause alongside such amazing artists.

High mile jazz [Crate Digs Vol 3 - Codename:Rcrds - Sep 4, 2025]

While living in Thailand for a brief stint, Black Barrel and Ant TC1 found themselves as neighbours. During that time, Black Barrel shared some long-lost, unfinished 90s projects by Karl Miller. The dusty archives instantly struck a chord with Ant; raw, atmospheric blueprints that still held serious weight.

The pair wasted no time selecting two standout tracks to breathe new life into for a Dispatch Blueprints release. What followed was a true collaborative exchange, with Karl Miller and Black Barrel trading ideas across borders, each injecting their signature style into the foundations of these original cuts.

The result? Two pieces of deep, atmospheric Jungle music, charged with nostalgic character but sharpened by a modern edge. Vintage bones, future flesh.

Swixx - On The Sleeve

Human Synthetics returns to the label for the 8th installment from Dream Schemes. A mixed release with tracks for home or the dancefloor, plus a bonus remix of Leisure Centre from Repertoire’s own Law.

A side - Reality Function - is a dreamy sci-fi fuelled track that almost made an appearance on his first release with us. This one is about what you would expect from HS, tight production, choppy breaks, wavey synth lines, and deep rolling baselines.

B side - Renegade - shows HS turning up the heat a little. While still deep and atmospheric, this one comes packed with well thought out call and response across the bass section, and a second drop that would get people moving in any situation.

Bonus track - Leisure Centre (Law Remix) - sees Law drop in and deliver a stripped back, steppa take, on the much loved Leisure Centre - a track from our first ever release. Perfect for all occasions, this one will spin listeners around with crisp drum programming, hypnotic melody lines, and big bouncy bass.

A side - Lake - is a lovely little end of summer track, tight composition and orchestration all with a nice electronica feel.
