3-hour peak time sets are very rare, and I´m grateful that the club gave me the freedom here. It was recorded in one night, from Thursday to Friday, and it sounds that way too. A bit deeper than the "usual" peak time sets because the crowd really connected with the vibe. A night without high expectations, but it turned out to be very special.

MZR, born in 1988 and based in Berlin,MZR is a techno DJ and producer who began his career in 2008 under various secretive aliases. 

He later settled on using MZR as his main stage name. Alongside his partner, KETCH, he established the label SYXT, which quickly became known as a vital part of the Berlin techno scene. 
MZR is known for his dynamic and energetic 4 Deck DJ sets, characterized by fast, groovy, and loop-based techno.

Happy New Year to everyone, and a big thank you to those who’ve supported my music over the years.

I’m starting the year by sharing another set in a style similar to my last upload, stepping away from the sound most people associate with me. There will also be some parties coming up where I’ll play this kind of sound—keep an eye on my socials for updates.

More sets in my usual style will be featured in upcoming podcasts outside of this channel, and I’ll repost those here.

Berlin-born DJ and producer MZR has been shaping his distinct sound since the early 2010s, blending his background in drums and percussion into a hypnotic, drum-heavy strain of minimalistic techno. His intricate, detail-driven approach crafts an immersive sonic journey, where tribal rhythms and subtle nuances pull listeners deep into the moment. His sound is raw, rhythmic, and deeply emotive, designed to move both body and mind.

Beyond his work as a DJ and producer, MZR is a key figure in the underground scene. He co-founded SYXT, a Berlin-based music label, and runs his independent imprint, MZRRECORDS, both serving as platforms to spotlight emerging as well as established talent and push his forward-thinking vision of techno.

MKO is a DJ and promoter with over a decade of experience in the Polish scene and is a resident at Jasna 1 and a key member of the SLAP crew. He now fully dedicates himself to his club night, Shadows. His sound has resonated in Poland’s most iconic venues and internationally in cult clubs and festivals. In his sets, he moves fluidly through different shades of techno, deep, dub, trippy, and classic Detroit influences, without being confined to a single style.

This mix is a recording from Shadows, where he shared the booth with Kaiser and Chami, handling warm-up duties. It’s a journey from 135 to 140 BPM, packed with tracks he loves playing right now.

The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. His devotion to a particular sound and approach has driven his ability to grow rapidly since entering the scene just a few years ago, and it is this obsession that will continue to allow him to blossom. He’s an artist to watch by all accounts, and whether it’s DJing or producing, he is emerging as an essential feature of Australia.

Stephen Disario has become a leading figure in Los Angeles’s techno scene with his signature style of moody, driving techno. Beyond his productions and DJ sets, he’s shaped the community through Cognition, the event brand he co-founded in 2017, and his work with LA’s premier sound company H2Audio. In 2023, he launched Conundrum Records, spotlighting both his own sound and that of like-minded artists. You can find him playing everywhere from underground warehouses to stages like ADE, Boiler Room, and CRSSD.

Love, peace and unity – the famous words of a movement that very much attracted Rove Ranger as a child to electronic music. Listening to early Schranz and Techno back then, it is no wonder that the sound of Rove Ranger is defined by fast-paced percussions and high energy.
Starting out as a producer in late 2007, he extended his musical spectrum over the years from EBM and Industrial to the likes of modern Techno. Always striving in musical variation, he started Rove Ranger aside his previous projects in early 2019 by focusing on sounds who he admired back as a child. Rough, dirty and compromiseless rhythms coupled with hypnotic melodies are just a few words to describe his vision of techno, of which he makes no exception on as a music selector too.
Since 2019 he is also part of the VISION EKSTASE techno collective with its origins in Stuttgart. Together, he and his friends create events, art and music free of any conventions with great success. Breaking the rules and exploring new grounds is what defines VISION EKSTASE as well as Rove Ranger.

I would have liked to be Driss from Intouchables, a great examples of help and of fight against cliches.

I would have been an Italian Cuisine Chef as cooking is my second passion.
