Hailing from Spain, London producerAnabel Arroyo returns on LABURNŪM for an EP full of Energy. Intricate trance synths, sharp hats, and claps create a bouncy and EBM-infused well-rounded release.
Our first remixer is Paris up-and-coming artist Cassie Raptor. Cassie supplies her trademark hard-as-nails sound to the remix Side, whereas LABURNŪM-regular Myka added vocals to his contribution to create a killer version of Wrong Postcode.

“I first encountered Toru upon exiting a Tokyo DJ booth one evening. He was waiting patiently to pass me a CD of his work along with a polite, handwritten note. The tracks had a uniqueness and an appealing futuristic feel, and thus a few of them became regular fixtures in my DJ sets” – Ø [Phase]

Not unlike Ø [Phase]’s own beginnings, and following in the footsteps of the great artists before him, Katsuta’s humble approach caught the attention of mainstay techno fixtures. In 2021, he released a remix on Matrixxman’s The Grid label for fellow up- and-coming artist Alarico. Despite being his first featured release, Katsuta’s music has already been circulating clubs and broadcasts around the globe.

During a summer journey through Italy, Avant.OCS recorded the textures that surrounded them: whispers of wind, sun-cracked woods, and fragments of nature scorched under a relentless sun. Upon returning home, these organic impressions were fused with modular explorations, blending natural elements with synthetic sound. The resulting EP moves through hypnotic, molten rhythms and raw, tactile atmospheres. Prototype V marks a deepening of Avant.OCS’s pursuit of new sonic ideas, pushing the boundaries of techno while remaining rooted in its essence. Avant.OCS expresses deep gratitude for the opportunity to release the project within a space dedicated to purity and forward motion.
