Founded by sonic architect and explorer Robert Raths aka ghostworker in 2007, Erased Tapes is a truly independent record label that has disrupted the industry and rejuvenated the musical landscape. The London-based label has consistently nurtured genre-defying artists from all around the world without losing its avant-garde ethos.

2015 saw BBC 6 Music radio presenter Mary Anne Hobbs stage an Erased Tapes evening featuring Nils Frahm and A Winged Victory For The Sullen at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the prestigious BBC Prom. It was the fastest selling ticket of the entire season. Shortly after Erased Tapes was awarded Best Small Label 2015 at the AIM Awards.

On February 5th 2017 Erased Tapes opened the doors to its new East London home, marking the 10th anniversary by introducing fans and the public to the new Erased Tapes Sound Gallery.

Late Night Tales invites the world’s best artists to delve deep into their music collections to create the ultimate “late night” selection. The series includes expertly curated mixes by Bonobo, Jon Hopkins, Nightmares on Wax, Nils Frahm, David Holmes, Groove Armada, Belle & Sebastian, Friendly Fires, The Flaming Lips, Metronomy, The Cinematic Orchestra, Four Tet, and Jamiroquai.

The Night Time Stories imprint releases original artist recordings including Khruangbin, Chaouche, and Rae & Christian.

Shift & Seika is a duo of sisters who originated from Dakar, Senegal in a family wich is art dedicated.Their taste for music is emphasized in a period where their father brought them discs from his trips ranging from melodic Jazz & Soul of New Orleans , to Pop made in ABBA & Cat Stevens, and to the traditional african music of the Kouyaté Family , just to name a few. They started humming like birds since childhood ! Over the years, they discovered a passion for a new style of music wich they added to their repertoire : Dance . With influences such as David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Solveig, Swedish house mafia... In 2009, they decided to launch their carreer at a professional level and are stated singers/songwriters.The recording sessions are done in BUZZLAB studio by a well known senegalese rapper Canabasse wich believe in their talent because the girls have a very special profile . They are the first group playing dance music in Senegal, Thus they produced a single "Dance & Party" released in december 2011 and promoted on a club tour in Dakar, a first audience contact wich was very satisfactory. They are later other benefits such as the launching of an international LIPDUB competition in June 2012 in partnership with the international artistic platform TALENTHOUSE wich have allowed projects for major brands and artists, such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, BCBG MAXAZRIA; and the Senegalese cultural webzine RECIDIVE MAGAZINE. These experiences gave them courage to renew this tour in the expectation of a larger audience.
