The Lost Caravan

This mix is very special to me as it is dedicated to the honor of the late great J Dilla. I made this to showcase the versatility & amazing quality of work from one of the greatest producers of all-time. 
   From emerging from the gritty city of Detroit to showcasing his genius to the entire world before his passing at age 32, Dilla (also known as Jay Dee) always kept his love for all forms of music front and center. It's my honor and duty to continue to push music forward and keep his memory alive with everything I have in me. 
       I will post a tracklist soon but I want you all to just engulf the mix and embrace the rhythms. Music can truly change lives and we all must be creative in every aspect of our lives. Word to Dilla.
   Special thanks and honor to his mother Maureen Yancey, his mentor Q-tip, Questlove, Busta Rhymes, ILLA J, Madlib and the man who taught him : Amp Fiddler.

Hey YOU! Yeah YOU! What's UP? Where have I been? Locked away in my room, toiling away at this EP/Album thing. And it's DONE! I had to put it out! If I don't, nothing else will be released! 

With all that being said: Thanks for coming back! There are quite a few tracks on here from throughout the year, but there are plenty of surprises on tracks you think you may know already. There's also a particularly spicy bonus track, but you'll hear that later. I implore you to give it a listen, tell me what you think.
