I love the smell of the ground after rain (petrichor), which this week's haiku, by Richard Barnes, evokes. It inspired my improvisation (in A Aeolian) played on a VST piano with effects from Guitar Rig 6. Recorded and mixed in Reaper. Mastered with CloudBounce.

what is it that you hate about this guy

what is wrong with the way i pray
are my expectations in the way
or does it just take time for god to have his say
what does heaven make of me
am i even to receive a key

Solo Piano - Chris Bright

My music is freely improvised, usually on VST synthesizers, sometimes fretless bass, guitar, occasionally electric viola or cello, with a variety of effects pedals. Solo music is performed live and recorded as 'FlownBlue'.  I am also in four improvising duos: 'Windfall Light' (with Jim Tetlow), 'Abstract Blue' (with Kevin Buckland), 'Light Fragments' (with Steve Escott), and Szukanie (with Michał Wojciechowski).
