- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku110)”
To submit your track:
- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram

A short improvisation (in A Aeolian) in response to Hakyo's haiku. Played on Acoustic Shadows VST synthesizer, with added effects: Neunaber Wet reverb and Valhalla delay. Recorded and mixed in Reaper. Mastered with CloudBounce.

White Peaks (naviarhaiku455)

I composed the main melody and other parts when out on my daily walk at dusk in central London (see pic) and had the A-A-B-A structure in my mind for when I recorded this when I got home. I wanted the melody to be a sequence of 9 notes, which is my number in numerology and it is the number that signifies completion. 

This piece completes all the works I've written now for the performance I'm doing at this coming Saturday's Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival. I'll be on at midday until 1pm at the old caravan cafe on Ferry Quay in Woodbridge. https://www.woodbridgeambientmusicfestival.com

White on Brown (naviarhaiku455)

My music is freely improvised, usually on VST synthesizers, sometimes fretless bass, guitar, occasionally electric viola or cello, with a variety of effects pedals. Solo music is performed live and recorded as 'FlownBlue'.  I am also in four improvising duos: 'Windfall Light' (with Jim Tetlow), 'Abstract Blue' (with Kevin Buckland), 'Light Fragments' (with Steve Escott), and Szukanie (with Michał Wojciechowski).
