Firstly I'd like to say an enormous thank you to the team at 333 and Flow Music for inviting me to contribute to their amazing series - I've been a regular listener since its inception and have so much admiration for the work they have been doing to showcase the Australian dance music scene to the rest of the world. As a huge fan of the series and of so many of the incredible artists involved, I was truly humbled when I got the offer to put this together. 

For this mix I really wanted to make the most of the extended playtime - so my goal was to curate a cohesive journey across a wide bpm range, featuring tracks from across all of my favourite genres. It starts out at around 107 bpm with a piece of traditional Indonesian gamelan music - gamelan instruments were the first I ever learned to play while I was growing up in Indonesia, and was the initial spark for my deep fascination with music. From there, the mix slowly works its way up and navigates through organic house + downtempo, afro house, melodic house and techno, progressive house, indie dance, dark disco, with bits of acid, breaks, and electronica also thrown into the mix. This set was extra special to me because I was also able to include my first original production, "Pertama" in the tracklist.

UK-born and Melbourne raised, Bün is an exciting new DJ and music producer emerging from Melbourne’s local house and techno scene.

His DJ sets traverse the sub-genres of house and are rich with rhythmic percussion, soulful vocals, pulsing basslines and spicy drops that make the dance floor heave. 

Bün has played at venues such as Revolver, Killing time, Attica and the Vic Bar. Supporting acts such as Groove Armada, Layla Benitez and Azzecca

Beyond the decks, Bün’s passion is music production. He takes inspiration from Adam Ten, Mishell, Daniel Steinberg, Moontalk, Kolter, Sosa and Luke Alessi.

In March 2025 Bün released his song “Flip That” with Quincy Boy Records, which featured on the family and friends compilation. 

In 2024, his EP Feel the Tempo reached number 3 in the Melodic Techno releases and number 2 in Progressive House releases.

It invites the artist to create a magnum opus of a composition which will endure over the years due to discovery both through the artists profile and our profile. 

Flow Music’s mixes are designed to take the listener on an energetic journey, allowing each artist to express their full creativity and truly find their flow. 
3 hours and 33 minutes allows the artist to delve into realms they rarely explore to create the ultimate journey. It is also an opportunity for the listener to completely immerse themselves in the intricate complexity of their favourite artists.
