Fabian Krooss drops a trippy melodic house release via Flow Music, which also features an indie dance remix by YAME.
Based in Berlin, Fabian Krooss is a German artist who is known for his majestic style of melodic house, which combines organic sounds with captivating synth melodies. This is Fabian Krooss' first time releasing on Flow Music, and his music can be found on other respected record labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Sounds of Khemit and A Tribe Called Kotori.

On remix duty, YAME are a duo whose disco tinges and psychedelic style of indie dance has been featured on record labels ranging from Bar 25 to Disco Halal.

Flow Music is an Australian record label linked to the Flow Sessions podcast series and website with the same name as the record label. The imprint has previously featured tracks and remixes from the likes of El Mundo, Super Flu, Dave Seaman, and Dole & Kom.

"Falling to Pieces" is the solo original track on this release, and it combines shuffling percussion with sparkling melodies, and a trippy bassline that swells with tension building modulation. YAME's remix of "Falling to Pieces" adds a new pulsating arpeggio synth and a psychedelic vocal that transforms their version into a distinctively unique interpretation.

I've been DJing off and on since the 80s, got serious during covid and started to record and post weekly sets. I've an odd format - I pick 16 new tracks each week, mostly from ZipDJ, and put them together to make a set, I don't pick tracks which go together, just what I really like. Making them flow is often a real challenge. I love sharing the music I love.

My set descriptions are often about my journey of healing.

Captivating the underground house scene, this DJ is a master at weaving together 16 fresh tracks of underground house each week, delivering a live set that's recorded and shared with the world on SoundCloud. 

A true aficionado of the genre, his mixes explore the depths of underground house, including progressive, deep, tech, and minimal styles. Their signature style can be described as a spacey, trippy, and flowing journey that effortlessly spans various subgenres, taking listeners on a sonic odyssey that transcends the mere concept of a setlist.

The roots of this sound are deep and nourishing, sprouting from a childhood home reverberating with the sounds of big band, jazz, showtunes, classical, and the pop and rock anthems of the 1960s. This diverse musical upbringing birthed an eclectic taste in the young DJ, who, as a teenager, was magnetically drawn to the burgeoning world of electronic music. The 1980s saw them at the heart of the scene, spinning tracks at house parties and crafting mixtapes that were the analog precursors to today's playlists.

A pivotal relocation to the UK in 2010 marked the discovery of a new realm of sound—underground house music. This discovery was not just a step but a leap into a world that resonated with their very being, influencing not just their music choices but also defining their identity as a DJ. From past to present, their biography isn't just a tale of beats and tunes, but a chronicle of an ever-evolving love affair with music that beats at the heart of the underground scene.

Born in the Philippines and raised in Egypt before moving to Montreal, my musical path began with a dream of shredding a guitar solo on stage like Slash in “November Rain”.

Then, everything changed when I discovered electronic music, drawn in by the vast range of sounds and the ability to take people on a unique journey.

I believe music is the purest form of freedom of expression.

Through music, I share ideas, emotions, and unforgettable moments while inspiring people to find the courage to be whom they are meant to be.

Marcelo Malta, aka MLTX, is a DJ and music producer deeply rooted in a musical legacy. Inspired by his multi-instrumentalist father, he began his musical journey early on, mastering drumming and performing in hardcore, punk rock, and heavy metal bands. This formative experience instilled in him a profound appreciation for diverse rhythms and melodies.

In 2015, a transformative experience at major festivals and parties ignited a passion for techno. Immersed in the sounds of renowned artists, he discovered a new musical direction. Encouraged by a friend during the pandemic, he embraced DJing, quickly establishing himself as a rising star.

MLTX has garnered international recognition, playing at renowned parties and podcasts worldwide. His talent was acknowledged by the Colombian collective @elviaje, where he was invited to curate, providing a platform for other underground artists.

MLTX's unique sound, coined #fusiontechno, seamlessly blends techno, indie dance, and dark disco. His productions and DJ sets are characterized by energetic and captivating performances, driven by powerful, dark rhythms that reflect his drumming background.
