✍️ Leicht verkartet und in der kalten Jahreszeit insbesondere, fällt es schwer sich aufzuraffen. Wenig Tiefschlaf und bleierne Leere im Kopf, tragen ihrerseits wenig zum produktiven Tagwerk bei. Doch es gibt Aufgaben, die können nicht weiter aufgeschoben werden. Gewisse Pflichten erfordern die volle, zumindest die bestmögliche, persönliche Leistungsbereitschaft. An diesen Tagen und unter solchen Umständen kann es dann schon einmal länger dauern. Das aufraffen, das verrichten der Aufgabe selbst, einfach alles was Energie benötigt. Doch wie schwer wir es uns auch manchmal selbst machen, mit einem disziplinierten Kraftakt wird es schon gelingen. 

🎵 Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist mal wieder einer der gemütlichen Sorte. PULLI & CHOMBA lassen es für diese Ausgabe ganz entspannt angehen. Ausgeglichen und ein wenig verträumt fließt ein Track in den anderen hinein. Wo der eine endet und der andere beginnt, wird zu einer Frage der Perspektive. Aus vielen kleinen Einzelteilen entsteht ein fluides großes Ganzes.

To be very honest, we (@goro-music and @lev-tatarov, hi 😊) usually don't really like recording mixes at home. We feel that it misses some of the high stakes energy that playing in front of a live crowd brings into a set. There are also very unexpected turns that a flow can take when you throw a lively dancefloor into the mix and this is what we wanted to add to this one. 

 A few months ago, we were invited to play at a beautiful campsite on one of the warmest summer weekends of this year. This is a mixed crowd (young families, older couples, friend groups, you name it...), most of which do not know us, and we did not know where the direction of this will go so we came prepared for anything. We decided on a simple rule to guide us - anything goes and just have fun.. And fun we had! What was supposed to be a tame camping set turned into an all-nighter with the owner of the camping urging us at 5AM to "just play one more". 

 This set goes over a variety of sounds and BPMs.. some that we often play nowadays and some that are more in our past but all a part of our musical journeys as DJs and friends since we met 5 years ago. Percussive grooves, deep atmospheres and driving energy. We hope you enjoy!

I discovered a lot about myself while preparing this set and it all made sense when I was there with the crowd who also had their own intentions and preparation for a good time!  The crowd's energy at Chi Wow Wah was truly electrifying.  Big thanks to Chi Wow Wah Town for having me."

This was the last 'real' show for me, the last one performing in front of and with a real crowd, probably the last festival this year for me. 
Isn't it crazy? I never planned to upload this set but since the world turned upside down it got a completely different meaning for me.
