From the early inspiration of hip hop, funk and soul, he brought his first pair of turntables at the tender age of 15 and has been cutting and scratching his way through ever since. Rolling out from the shores of the English east coast , once he got a taste for electronica there was no looking back.
These days he can be found deep in the Auckland Ghetto, providing the soundtrack for our days and nights - and with his slow jive down beat, sexed up deeper house and intergalactic future B Boy tech, he's got us good.

Songwriter and producer, Cat Ma, has been writing music since the Wall Street Crash. Occasional other half of duo Betty Pulls A Fast One (played a couple of times on BBC 6 Music), and also songwriter/producer with grade A star (played once on BBC 6 Music).This is for those who are occasionally candy crushed, and confused by the world. But aren't we all really? We'll always be fine with music for company.
