Teo is an active player on the Croatian and ex-YU techno scene for more than 20 yrs and a consistent producer since the mid 2010s, releasing music for Naked Lunch, Betrieb, Dreizehn, Techno Vinyls etc. Teo also runs the club Depo in Zagreb, one of the top Croatian techno clubs...

''Uncharted'' is Teo's first release for Out Of Place, from which we premiere the track ''Cyclone''.

With its roots firmly in the relentless techno of the '90s, Absence of Facts presents modern analog-inspired tracks that have been handcrafted and carefully selected in Helsinki, Finland.

Label head Orion presents four tracks of funky hardgroove-era influenced techno continuing the AOF release series Scandinavian Funk. Playful, loopy and percussive rhythms with heavy hitting 909 grooves and vocal snippets keep the tracks simplistic and functional - perfectly aligned with Absence of Facts style.

Unconventionality was a key aspect for me in creating this material, which is why I experimented with unconventional sounds and effects to give my music a distinctive atmosphere. I drew inspiration not only from techno artists but also experimented with other genres such as ambient, industrial, and house to introduce fresh elements into my album. This combination of different styles and influences allowed me to create sounds that were both modern and timeless. It was also important to create fluidity and coherence in the EP. The selection of track order, transitions, and musical narration played a crucial role in the overall perception of the project. Ultimately, my material is an expression of my passion for exploring new sounds and expressing myself. I am proud to have created something unique, and I hope that listeners will be able to feel the energy and emotions that I intended to convey through my music.
