This tune is based on a story I read in The Crimson Fairy Book, called "To Your Good Health!"

You see, there's a king, and every time he sneezes the whole kingdom must say "to your good health!" Most seem not to mind, but there's a single shepherd who just will not do this. The king summons him, and when the shepherd still refuses, the king throws him into a den with ten wild, hungry boars. The shepherd doesn't miss a beat: he pulls out a pocket flute and plays "a merry tune, on which the wild boars first of all shrank shyly away, and then got up on their hind legs and danced gaily." (How could I resist writing about this?)

The bit with the boars ends soon enough, when "he played faster and faster till they could hardly twist and turn quickly enough, and ended by all falling over each other in a heap, quite exhausted and out of breath."

SOUNDSHOCK is back to conclude the FM FUNK trilogy. FM FUNK NIRVANA!! brings you 16 new tracks by 19 uniquely talented musicians, from four different continents, using an arsenal of 17 different hardware and software FM synthesizers. 

Although this release marks the end of the series, our hope is that we’ve inspired listeners and musicians enough to carry our message further, and to keep reinventing FM sounds for decades to come! "That is", in the words of Tsuyoshi Shimokura, "not a sad thing." No indeed; rather, we believe this calls for celebration: let’s get it started!
