For the last few years, LLUMEN has patiently subsided in the studio, where they worked on their versatile blend of intelligent club-oriented music. 
At times, the silence was broken, and out of the deep, arose a few well-crafted, engaging and complex songs. 
Most notably there was Cold in December, which was featured first on the much aclaimed alfa body matrix compilation.
Soon, LLUMEN was picked up by the german gothic magazine, with an alternative version of their Cold in December on Extreme Traumfänger 13 and Force of Nurture on the magazine compilation.
An article in that same magazine acknowledged their potential; naming llumen ‘best unsigned band’.
The thoughtfullness LLUMEN invests in its music, can also be heard in the remixes; Alien Vampires’ Evil Bloody Music, was treated with the LLUMEN touch for their Harshilzer album, and Stray’s  Let me Go was reworked too.
The man behind LLUMEN is apart from a talent musician an experienced audiovisual performer. On occasion he joins the Belgian SONAR as live visualist. He performs with Peter De Koning (Hybryds/TraumaSutra) as LICHtRAUM, and co-developed Robert   Appleton’s audiovisual VORTEX performance. 
Now, LLUMEN is ready to leave the comfort of the studio and venture into the real world. With a live show that envisions the layered nature of the music, a three-man band and a multimedial setup, LLUMEN is commited to invite its public to partake in their world, which is full of heavy beats, meticulously crafted melodies and engaging lyrics.


Jacked up dirty beats at an old skool rave in a run down warehouse club with the best bass rig you've ever heard...arms reaching for the lasers while Knife Party, Boys Noize, Daft Punk and The Prodigy fight over who is coolest. 

After scoring dancefloor success with his own material, Skullfuck, Detonation and Robots releases, Modulate has become one of the hottest remixers in the alternative electro scene, producing mixes for bands such as Covenant, Suicide Commando, Grendel, Faderhead, Soman, Nachtmahr and many others. 

The bands most recent release, Robots, gave them their biggest hit yet, peaking at #3 in the German Alternative Chart, giving them their first magazine cover and receiving rave reviews across the media...stamping their way into many journalists and broadcasters Best Of 2012 charts."

Originating from the Commodore Amiga days of making music for LSD productions such as Grapevine and Jesus On E's.

Since finding a love for 4x4 from growing through the UKG era, Lance Morgan has enjoyed a meteoric rise within the UK Underground scene. Lance began to harness his skills and increase his understanding of the music which developed his ability to consistently deliver hard-edge, bass driven grooves was quickly noticed as he began filling dance floors across London earning regular guest slots on Rinse FM & Kiss FM.

Fuelled by sheer determination, Lance pushed himself to create an environment that allowed ravers to feel free whilst letting loose to the four to the floor bass lines he craved to play. This resulted in the launch of his ever popular brand Frequency. With his reputation gaining popularity with its bass driven music policy, Lance took the Frequency Brand across the country showcasing acts such as Dirty Channels, Matt Fear, Kreature, Clouded Judgemnt & Many more. He also programmed a stage at UK festival Outbreak in 2014 as well as finding Frequency a home with a Bi-monthly residency at Warehouse London. Lance has fulfilled a busy booking schedule including gigs at Sankeys Ibiza, Ministry of Sound & events all over the UK and Europe.

Parallel to his DJ’ing, Lance spends an unprecedented amount of time in the studio. His 1st release came in May 2013, a co-production with Storm Productions released on Audio Rehab “When The Night Falls” and got a huge response. Lance released further material on plus recordings, House Entertainment, Shadow Music and also had time to do an Official Remix of the Smash hit “Adorn” by Miguel for Sony RCA Records. Lance has spent the majority of 2014 in the studio perfecting his sound creating music, ready for release in 2015.

Phylr is Jim Filer Coleman. Creatively diverse and/or schizophrenic, the music ranges from machine oriented beat driven mayhem to organic atmospheric ambience, usually settling in the realm of cinematic imagination. 

Historically, Coleman was an integral member of seminal post punk, post industrial band Cop Shoot Cop. He then went on to compose music for indie films and television. He has worked with directors such as Hal Hartley, Todd Phillips, Beth B, and Richard Kern. Coleman has also composed music for series and one - offs for HBO, A&E, Court TV and TLC, among others.

Coleman has released 2 albums under the name Phylr and done numerous remixes (Foetus, Young Gods, Steve Wynn etc). He has collaborated with noted Italian composer Teho Teardo as Here, and with sonic mastermind JG Thirlwell as Baby Zizanie.

He has an on again - off again band in NYC called The Children.

An ambient album entitled Trees will be released under the name Jim Coleman in 2012.
