Galactic Groove Presents the first edition of or mix series sets. 
Here we will present Live and Dj sets from the Galactic Groove Records label artists along with some guest sets from some of our friends and favourite artists involved with other top labels in the night psy scene. 
For our very first edition we feature a new Live set from one of our rising stars on the label & dear friend "Muirakitan" .

The Muirakitan project is composed by multi-instrumentalist musician Eduardo Carvalho, who since 2008 has been acquiring knowledge in music, acting in various hardcore and metalcore bands. His first contact with electronic music was in 2014 when he founded the Psycoativo alias, as a Dj focused on nocturnal sounds. As he always performed with composition in his bands, he soon left for music production, and in 2016 the Muirakitan project was formed,  a project aimed at night lovers, focused on creating a highly psychedelic and impactful atmosphere on the dance floor, leaving everyone in a euphoric trance. who indulge in organic sounds and hypnotic melodies that promise to play with your brain.

O projeto Muirakitan é composto pelo músico multi-instrumentista Eduardo Carvalho, que desde 2008 vem adquirindo conhecimento na música, atuando em variadas bandas de hardcore e metalcore. Iniciou seu contato com a música eletrônica em 2014 quando fundou o projeto Psycoativo, projeto de Dj Set voltado para sons noturnos. This is the longest of my recordings yet. 4 hours played at the Natural History gathering in the North of Seville, Andalucia, Spain. It was performed during the top hours of the saturday night, 23h to 3h. A review of all thing dark psychedelic trance. Starting with dark/forest prog, followed by groovy forest, darkpsy and dark forest, from 141 to 158 and then back to 150. I played a selection of all 3 of my labels atm, Intermind, Woodog and Darkweb, plus other crispy and killer tunes. Almost 50 tracks for a delightful journey through different textures and tempos of dark psychedelic trance. Enjoy the ride!!

This first edition of the gathering will be well remembered. The epic location made it memorable. People came from all over Spain and some parts of Europe to party outdoors at the end of February. Decor and music on point. Happy to have been part of it. I hope for many more times to come!

Shred'er Live @ MODEM 2022 - The HIVE

Dheeraj Mathew hails from the so-called "Gods own country" Kerala, south cost of India, currently based in Goa. Being highly inspired by psychedelic culture, he debuted his solo project under the name SACRED MANTRA with musical selection which represents the dark side of the psychedelic trance music. Throughout this musical journey,  he found himself more attracted to the organic forest sounds of the night with heavy baselines and the vision to teleport one to the magical lands. 

He represents BANYAN RECORDS and VANAGHOTRA RECORDS as a label DJ, same time working with various events, festivals, producers and other representatives of psychedelic movement. In 2020 he released his first VA compilation "Paths in Nature" collaborating with producers around the globe.  Represents India as ambassador of Nayama festival located in Armenia. He performed numerous gigs in and outside of India, sharing the stage along with masters of sound such as Abyss ooze, Megalopsy, Claw, Tromo, Antonymous, Komfuzius, Mindbenders, Iguana, Sanathana, Audhumbla and others.

After years of musical exploration he found himself interested in playing with various genres, resulting with alter ego side project named KAAVU, which is evolving around psytech, darkprog and forest prog sounds.

In 2021 he became a founder of project "Urban Tribes" to create and curate events with organic sounds from around the world, focusing on fusion of live acts of ethnic instruments and hypnotic dance music. 

He is currently aimed at bringing his DJ sets to festivals and venues locally and globally and working on his own production and few collaborative pieces.

For the first EP on Stardust, we present Celestial Nomad by Prague-based producer Roman Pavlenko aka Paromanormal. Drawing inspiration from the expressive nature of FM synthesis, his work highlights the possibilities of distinctive creative sound expression around the matter of inner space and emotion.

Balancing between desire of exploration, spirituality and post tantrum dispersion, Celestial Nomad circulates on its cohesive path through volumes of recognizable old school trance palettes across eras of human history. It is cruising with no start or finish - fueled by hypnotic melodies, network of sonic experiences, technology and human talent in the still of the cosmos, each track carrying field recordings of traces of living forms on Earth.

Four original tracks are complimented with 2 remixes from Vilnius based producer Tadan and Yerevan’s Hopdop.

Santy is Fluoelf, a psytrance DJ and producer from Spain. He has been spinning since 2001, being part of the local scenes in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London.

From an early age, he was heavily influenced by 60s classic and psychedelic rock. It was when he moved to Amsterdam in 2001 that he got in contact with rave culture and psychedelic trance, a complete life-changing experience. Right after his first party, it took him a month to start organizing them and 3 to start mixing with the good old cdjs100. He has developed a mixing and storytelling technique that is ever-changing and evolving from the very beginning to this day.

His love for underground music has kept him always on the move, constantly evolving and with an experimental edge. He started playing minimalistic psy and after that he added more recent styles to his repertory: darkprog/psygressive since 2005, twilight/forest since 2010 and psychedelic techno since 2013.

In his performances he uses a blend of these different sub-styles and he plays them according to the time of the day and the music that surrounds him. The result, new djsets for every new dancefloor. Sets that evolves in waves, progressively increasing or decreasing, creating a hypnotic flow with a very personal and psychedelic style. 

Fluoelf is part of Intermind Records and Resina Records. He has released compilations at Occulta, Parasomnia, Uroboros and Woodog. He was also producing for a few years, releasing a few tracks and collabs at Uroboros, Glitchy Tonic and Transition records.

Nowadays, he is based in London, where he travels all over Europe and worldwide, delivering his sets to a wide range of events, including: Freqs of Nature(DE), Lost Theory (ES), Modem (HR), Masters of Puppets (CZ), Symbiosis (US), Triplicity (UK), Son Libre (Fr), Solstice (NL), Transition (ES-resident), Own Spirit (ES) and many other festivals and parties.

You can find him with a fun attitude in the dancefloor and behind the decks. Expect something different every time...

TechElf is Fluoelf techno side project. It was born in 2023 after 10 years experimenting and playing at parties under the same name. It took some time, but after all, a separation was needed as the project is mature and ready to contain by itself.
TechElf style varies with the parties he performs at. It's usually very percussive and leaning to the serious side, but not necessary dark. He mainly plays psy and minimal techno, but his range is wider and can reach progressive techno, and he is working on introducing dark techno and other sub-styles in upcoming sets. He will definitely experiment further, now that he is free from psy duties from his main and most known project.
