We’re proud to present the fifth release on flurt — Dark Forest EP [FLRT005] — a four-track collection from Russian producer 
Milost Na Kurorte with a tight, driving rework from flurt artist Roux. 

The originals carry an eerie, stripped-back energy—Milost’s signature sound on full display through sparse rhythms, evolving pads, and deep, textural undercurrents. Each track sits in that liminal space between stillness and motion, inviting listeners to lean into the subtle shifts.

Roux’s reinterpretation of Alchemy’s Room brings a distinct contrast—rolling low-end pressure, sharp percussion, and tightly wound grooves. It’s a punchy, hypnotic take that extends the EP’s atmosphere into a more physical space.

Continuing our focus on forward-thinking minimal, Dark Forest EP adds a new shade to the flurt catalogue—rooted in mood, intention, and detail.

Beyond the decks and the studio, Josh is the mind behind flurt—a label and platform exploring the more mysterious, experimental edge of Minimal and Microhouse. for electronic music at an early age. After studying music theory in her youth, she put
aside the piano, then the synthesizer in favor of the turntables at the age of 17.

Attracted by the minimal German and Romanian scenes, she developed her own style, far
removed from all stereotypes. Known as a purveyor of minimal sound, captivating audiences with her meticulous selections and groovy mixes. Cora M weaves together a tapestry of deep basslines, ethereal textures, and deep vocals, inviting listeners on a mental voyage through the realms of consciousness and abstraction.

With performances at intimate underground venues and renowned clubs alike, her minimalist approach to DJing, characterized by its understated elegance and emotional depth, has garnered a dedicated following of music enthusiasts. We’re proud to present the sixth release on flurt — Spectre EP [FLRT006] — a six-track journey from UK producer PiNG (UK), featuring incisive reworks from Mortalyf and Oscar Jones.

The four originals explore stripped-back, micro minimalism—textural, darker sounds unfolding through fractured rhythms, subtle percussive detail, and deconstructed atmospheres. Each track navigates the space between tension and release, inviting careful listening and immersive focus.

Mortalyf and Oscar Jones bring their own interpretations to the EP, adding contrast and dimension. The remixes accentuate PiNG’s hypnotic framework while introducing new twists—off-kilter grooves, punchy low-end energy, and dynamic rhythmic shifts.

With Spectre EP, we continue to explore forward-thinking minimal, delivering six tracks built on mood, precision, and intent.
