Dawn Razor and Archetech, two friends and two-thirds of the once-active trio Sonnen Blumen Kerne, have collaborated to deliver an album of tracks previously released exclusively on vinyl through Dawn Razor’s NARA Records. When Lobster Theremin ceased operations, the stock of these releases was lost, leaving only brief preview snippets online.

Adam approached HOMAGE with the story and shared the tunes with us. Moved by the situation, we decided to release all of the tracks as a retrospective album. Thus, 'Half Life' was born—a collection of 10 tracks that blur the boundaries between slammin' electro, breakbeat, and mutated bass, all with a minimalist edge.

'Half Life' will be available to stream and download from May 17th, 2024.

We are thrilled to welcome Amsterdams fast rising DJ and producer BELLA to Slam City Jams with the „Bicycle Bounce“ EP. Following her highly acclaimed debut release on Sally C’s Big Saldo’s Chunkers imprint earlier this year, BELLA brings her signature style to our label with three 90s- inspired high energy house tracks, backed by a stellar Baldo remix.

The EP kicks off with „Wrong Directions“ and „Bicycle Bounce“, two prime-time anthems with bouncy basslines, uplifting chord stabs, sneaky vocal chops and feisty acid lines. On „Orange Elevate“ BELLA maintains the energy, while switching to deep and trippy synths that build to an epic breakdown - one for the late-night hours!

To round things off we have everyones favorite Baldo from Barcelona on remix duty. He does what he does best and transforms „Wrong Direction“ into a ravey piano acid bomb.

or the past few years, Daystar (aka Darian) has been releasing top notch club tools, tracky techno, and amazing ambient music. They’re a staple of the NYC underground for good reason. They know that more is not more…Daystar hones it in and is choosy about what they release. Fixed Rhythms is excited to present Daystar’s vinyl debut of four techno journey-cuts full of funk, soul, and energy.

The A-side tracks have a bit more of a jackin techno wormhole affect, while the B-side leans into some auxiliary percussion and strings / winds / horns settings on the synths, displaying their Detroit techno as well as House influences proudly. Upbeat, groovy basslines. It’s up-tempo, but it’s not banging you over the head (although the A-side does keep the intensity high). Great variety of techno tunes to turn a party out and have the heads leaning over to peek at the center label. Hot item!

Martin Kuška returns into the waters of melodic dreamy progressive and distinctive techno under the artist name Goodbye Mirage to release EP Thrills and Maybe Ecstasy. After experimenting with ambient and soundtrack soundscapes last year, he serves up a 5-track club EP in which, while ignoring many current trends, he explores how far we can push the intensity of our experiences and passions.

Czech producer, enthusiastic selector, freelance writer, lover of vintage synthesizers and various aspects of electronic music, he began his journey more than ten years ago on the local label Krmelec, later releasing a 12-inch record on Berlin based Massimiliano Pagliara's label Funnuvojere and a cassette albums on US Origin Peoples and Sacred Phrases. In recent years, Martin mainly released on the Lithuanian Electric Shapes, and last year's mini-LP full of oppressive ambient was released in Japan, on Umé Records, which is run by Canadian producer Precipitation, real name Zefan Sramek. Martin Kuška signed his latest production on the border of melancholic techno and progressive house to the established European techno label Diffuse Reality. The group of enthusiasts and promoters behind Diffuse Reality is constantly expanding, whether it is organizing international Theorema festivals or opening their own record store near the central Plaza España square in Barcelona.

"I prepared Thrills and Maybe Ecstasy with quite clear symbolism, but as time goes by, it has become a much broader collage of thoughts about our lives, how we deal with them, what we pay attention to, what makes sense, and maybe even how deeply we are here for each other. I want the songs to take you to the dance floor, but also force you to think. With all the rawness and subtlety at the same time. That's how I like it," says the producer, adding that the long-thought-out cover by Zuzana Průchová and the meanings of the track titles themselves should also contribute to enhancing the symbolism of the new release, giving ample room for reflection.

The EP Thrills and Maybe Ecstasy, featuring tracks like No Other Sentiment Can Match or Then The Sunset Was Surreal, was created mainly on the Nord Lead 3, Studio Electronics SE-3X, Korg MS2000 and Modal 001 synths in combination with the DAW Reason 10 and its many Rack Extensions. Releases March 3, 2025.

Super Jupiter and TØMII take us straight to the mothership with Future Maker and Tread, delivering those classic alien-prog textures that make you question whether you left the stove on back on Earth. And then there's AJ, throwing UK speed garage vibes into the mix and warping it through a cosmic prog lens—because why not, it's Void Antics right?

Next up we're very excited to have a mix from Berlin head, Stefan Goldmann.

Stefan has been a mainstay of the scene for quite some years working on an array of projects and releasing on many labels. 
Stefan has his own label, Macro, that he set up in 2007 with Finn Johannsen. However, prior to the birth of Macro, Stefan had released on many other labels such as Perlon, Cocoon and Innervisions. 

A rather special relationship has developed between Stefan and Berlin’s Berghain club since his debut at Panorama Bar in 2006. He conceived the Elektroakustischer Salon nights, opening up the club to experimental formats, and he is also the co-author of the club’s book, “Berghain 10“.

Stefan also writes a bi-monthly column for the club’s programme flyer full of interesting content, be sure to check it out.
