Premiering now via Iboga Records’ SoundCloud, Scionaugh’s rework is a masterclass in deep, driving psychedelia, a remix that honours the original’s cinematic depth while guiding it into shadowy, playful, and hypnotic new territory.

A longstanding contributor to the Universal Tribe journey and the mind behind our Subspecies compilation series, Scionaugh brings his signature sound to this special release with surgical precision and soul.

Originally released in 2016 by Freedom Fighters & MVMB as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, Australiens quickly became a progressive anthem. Now, nearly a decade later, we’re proud to reimagine it with a uniquely Australian voice, and Scionaugh’s remix sets the tone for what’s to come.

As they drifted through jungles, clubs, and concert halls, they stumbled upon a towering, ethereal being, a galactic Giraffe with headphones the size of hovercrafts and a vinyl collection that shimmered with cosmic hues. Giraffe spun a transcendent fusion of psychedelic techno beats that made the CapybaraZ weep tiny neon tears of joy. In gratitude, they sampled Giraffe’s soundscape and remixed it with Capyberion’s ancient electro-chirps and percussive tail-slaps, birthing a transcultural anthem that made planets pulse in sync and wormholes hum in harmony.
