Our Black Martian comes from the realms of EBM. A bit rough on the edges but still very melodic. A new generation calls it Italo Body Music. An older generation would simply label it Trance.

We prefer not to use labels, but we want you to get an idea of what you’re going to get when you enter the musical universe of Mundo D.

Alen Skanner provides us with an additional interpretation of our Black Martian. Familiar but yet still very different. He may still come from the realms of EBM but as we travel further the story unfolds somewhat differently. It appears that parallel universes do exist.

Miguel de Bois however does not appear to be from a parallel universe but instead he appears to be from the future. Just as time can be sped up or slowed down, our remixer seems to be travelling at light speed. High-octane Hi-NRG!

After his first appearance on Espacio Cielo with his “Reborn” EP, released in October last year, Calystarr is finally back on the mighty Spanish outlet with his brand-new endeavour: “Rocking On Night” comes wrapped in a groovy-meets-darkness aura and delivers its message by featuring three ace originals plus two top-notch remixes made with love by none other than ROTCIV (SXDNS069) and Cannibal Coconuts.

Hailing from Chiclana De La Frontera, Spain, Adrián Calystarr has been having a busy routine so far with fresh & ripe works on When Disco Goes Wrong, NEIN, and Golden Soul, besides Espacio, just to name a few, plus a string of well-constructed edits on his Bandcamp page – at which you definitely should take a peek.

Premiered here, the title track opens the EP with a powerful attitude: Fast-paced, embodied, Trance-clad, and rock-infused, “Rocking On Night” is a theme with pizzazz, ready to wreak havoc on sweaty and packed dance floors – the dark ones, preferably, we are not dealing with a fluffy pool-party/open-air piece here, for Pete’s sake!

Our compilation releases are a special occasion for us to showcase new names producing hot art but also old and well known friends from the label, and this year’s V.A. is certainly not an exemption. A sinister, and dancy whole.

The release is packed with mysterious vibes served by ANGE, Iba Boö delivering some masterfully crafted metallic voices, slow paced grooves by Robsn and faster cadence proposed by Karla Lynch. Eklektique takes us on an adventurous trip and Alda gets us on a clangorous yet melodic path.
We are very happy to have once again on the party Roliva with a tune full of Rock and Roll spirit and delightfully treated voices as well as Leonor and its mental proposal full of melodic jewels as usual.

COHN's latest EP, "Wine and Reason," delves into the enigmatic realm of Cosmic House, halfway between indie dark disco and Balearic house. This EP weaves a narrative of nostalgia and pulsating energy resulting in a cathartic blend of dancefloor killers. All the 3 tracks are a deep dive into 80s-inspired sounds, intricate percussion, and a seamless fusion of electronic elements perfected by COHN's unique touch.
Wine and Reason opens with La Salita, probably the most DJ-friendly tracks of the EP with its heavy load of groovy percussion. The M1 synths and percussion-heavy composition harken back to the '80s era, while a darker bassline adds a clubby and almost Italo House atmosphere. This newbeat-ish bass really makes the identity of the track which serves as an invigorating introduction to the rest of the EP..
The 2nd track "For Reason," sounds like a sonic time capsule that transports listeners back to the vibrant era of early electronic music. COHN used his skills to create a masterful blend of classic sounds and contemporary production techniques. The throbbing basslines, combined with ethereal synths, create a dancefloor-ready bomb that resonates with both balearic enthusiasts and darker indie dance aficionados.
Closing the EP is "Worthy of the Weather," a track that showcases COHN's versatility in electronic music. This house-infused gem combines woodwind melodies with pulsating synths, resulting in a composition that almost touches progressive house and early trance sonorities. The track's fusion of elements creates a cathartic experience, perfect for those late-night moments in intimate club atmospheres.
Wine and Reason resonates as a testament to COHN's production dexterity, proving that the artist can traverse the multiple sonic landscapes of House music, between nostalgic balearic vibes to darker club bangers. This perfect mix made the EP a logical fit for Mister T.’s 9th release, as a continuation of their exploration of leftfield 90s influences into club music. As a whole, the EP encapsulates the mystique of the night into a cathartic explosion of unleashed creativity to efficiently lit the dancefloors.

After releasing tracks and remixes on Ritmo Fatale, Ombra International, or Days of Being, Agle joins Espacio Cielo with 'Full of Stars EP'. 80s club sounds such as Disco and New Wave inspire his tone. Mixed up with mysterious drum machines, garnished with dusty analogue synths.

At the remixes, Silicodisco and the collaboration between Espacio Cielo heads Moo Moonster & Parissior.

Beyond The Struttosphere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs combining their considerable musical production experience with an insatiable passion for cosmic chugging dark disco.

The cosmonauts embark on their most ambitious journey yet with the release of ‘Odyssey-10’ on Emerald & Doreen records. True to its name, the lead track evokes an epic space voyage propelled by driving arpeggiators, chunky layered percussion, high-octane guitar hits and the signature BTS chug bassline.

The tune progresses into a tectonic breakdown heightened by
spacey Juno chords before launching into a dynamite crescendo that burns contrails through the atmosphere.

Remixes are provided by two bastions of the scene: Mexican dark wave star
Vongold introduces lustful celestial vocals into the mix, dialling down the tempo, and repurposing the track into a post-punk acid chugger that takes no prisoners. French dark disco connoisseur Badknife applies his masterful touch with a second remix, cranking up the throb and deploying interstellar synth arrangements that will have you reaching for your seatbelt.

The duo venture into uncharted territory with ‘Satellite Cities’, a collaboration with cosmic queen Miss Zagato. Undoubtedly their funkiest production to date, this galactic chugger is a hypnotic blend of funky guitar plucks, electrifying stabs and groovy riffs, underpinned by Miss Zagato’s intoxicating lyrics that transport you to the moon in a hypersonic X-15. Building in momentum and complexity, the track climaxes with a mesmerising vocal chorus, elevated by cosmic synth melodies and a resonating mid-range bass that will echo for aeons to come.

The original is backed by a sublime remix from Spanish electronic virtuoso, Ivan Fabra, whose take re-imagines the track as a pulsating Balearic dancefloor anthem loaded with powerful drums and ethereal pads that melt into the sunset.

The EP concludes with ‘Storming Heaven’, a sonically charged acid trip that adventures through the cosmos, guided by a weighty chugging bass, a psychedelic 303 line, tripped out guitar chords and an array of cosmic FX. The tune traverses two mystical breakdowns before ascending into stratospheric planes with a euphoric synth sequence and a staggering guitar solo courtesy of long-time BTS collaborator Stannard Procedure. He is finally back to the latter with his first full EP: “Amour Denoche” comes packed with two beautiful originals and four essential remixes made with love by Veltrán (FREEDL050), Ludviq, Super Vatos, and Deenia & Praqqa.

For those not familiar with the catalogue of the rising Mexican imprint, know that Kyma fails to disappoint when it comes to delivering high-quality Indie Dance/Dark Disco cuts – and Edd’s entry is far from breaking such successful string.

Premiered here, “Denoche” is a true zero gravity Disco experience: Groovy, frolic, and acid, the theme develops its magic by delivering a true showcase of Edd’s old-school influences. The icing-on-the-cake vocals by Michelmor cannot go unmentioned.
