Epicure Records is psyched to announce its 21st release: "Groovy Psycho" — a stellar collaboration between two renowned producers in the indie dance scene, Italian Berny and Mexican Leonor.

The title track, "Groovy Psycho," is a relentless italo club banger crafted to ignite dance floors with its driving energy and pulsating rhythms.
The second track, "Alterado," takes us on a more hypnotic and dreamy journey, featuring lush pads and cosmic leads that create a celestial, otherworldly atmosphere.
Rounding out the EP, the dub version ventures into darker territory, blending acid grooves with a brooding intensity that delivers the perfect balance of tension and release for peak-time moments.

Berny & Leonor - Groovy Psycho (EPI021)

Future City Punks is a collaboration between Melbourne-based artists Traxion & Sam In Space. Their distinct sound blends elements of indie dance with disco, post-punk, and a variety of band influences, all showcased in their live performances, which deliver high-energy and infectious experiences.

In 2024 they released their debut EP “Lust & Defiance” on Curses’ highly regarded label ‘Ombra International’. They also released an official remix for Australian band Northeast Party House’s ‘Enhancer’, alongside appearing on Rinse FM France.

Infused with attitude and a punk ethos, their music captures a raw, dystopian vibe that resonates strongly with crowds and fans of any genre. 

With a growing catalogue of studio material, the duo are set to release their next wave wave of releases in the very near future.

The Time Capsule EP is a collaborative release from one of our favourite artists, Kay-Chi, alongside his trusted friend and creative ally, Keymon. The pair deliver a powerful two-track journey that captures their artistic synergy and shared vision. 

The opening track, Time Capsule, is a dark and driving masterpiece designed to ignite any dance floor. With atmospheric textures, it’s as hypnotic as it is energizing—setting the tone for this compelling release. 

On the second track, Untold Truth, Kay-Chi teams up with Frank Brady for a remarkable collaboration. This track seamlessly blends their styles, resulting in hauntingly intense melodies and a deep, driving bassline that leaves a lasting impression. 

Adding further depth to the release are two stunning remixes from exciting new artists on the label. Vladsylav Putistin delivers a punchy, club-ready reimagining of Time Capsule, while Alberto Melloni makes his debut with a captivating interpretation of Untold Truth, bringing his distinctive style to the label for the first time.

Roy's debut on Rotten City offers a journey through four tracks, blending two originals with two remixes by the virtuoso producer Eden Burns and label boss Alvaro Cabana.

"South Marais" is a club-ready track that grooves with a funky bassline, catchy French vocals, and an infectious piano progression. Roy weaves his unique sound into the track, topping it off with a signature acid line and a catchy bass groove.

The refined Parisian imprint Epicure Records finally kicks off its 2025 season of delicacies with a powerful release by Newcastle-based artist Patrick Burge aka Port Manteau. “Titan” develops its prowess through three stunning originals and three blue-chip remixes made with love by none other than Keep Me In The Light, Patricio Diaz, and Vhyce. 

For those not so familiar with Patrick’s work, caveat emptor: The man is one of those producers with itchy fingers when in studio. Anything can happen, it will depend on the mood of the day. His House and Techno output suddenly gets more Progressive and 80s-infused, resulting in an alluring signature sonority. Well-received publications on Dischi Autunno, Saint Vaast, Toolroom, 10 Steps North, and Kitsch will give some north for those interested in exploring his catalogue. 

Premiered here, “Mugshot” is a fangy 128-BPM peak-time beast that perfectly combines melodic and progressive elements to deliver a deep Trance-soaked dance-floor experience. Alternating trippy and euphoric moments, "Muggie” is one of the highlights of the feast and is just a sample of the promising year ahead of both Port Manteau and Epicure.
