Ackerman's debut EP on Play Pal opens with the high-octane title track, "More & Faster" a dynamic mix of mid-paced percussion, syncopated arpeggios, robotic vocals, and sharp snares.

Next up is "Time Machine," a moody, synth-driven track that offers psychedelic dark grooves, punctuated by stuttering vocals and 303s. Meanwhile, "Can We Rewind Time" stomps forward with a heavy bassline and pulsating sound waves, building to a fiery climax.

Adding depth to the release are label friends and frequent Play Pal contributors Mufti, Leonor and TYU, each bringing their unique stamps to the originals.

Mufti’s rework of "More & Faster" strips back the original, retaining the hypnotic mantra, while adding new layered synth lines that heighten the tension throughout the track. Leonor’s darker take on "Time Machine" introduces a menacing funk, complete with a tempo-slowing breakdown before the latin vocal (a personal addition of his), kicks back in with force.

TYU rounds off Ackerman's kinetic collection with his signature blend of percussive acid bubbling, congas, and 303s, delivering an electrifying finish to the EP.

“N.B.I.C.” – Nanotechnologies – Biotechnologies – Information Technologies – Cognitive Sciences – after their inaugural release “Endless Sunday” in 2022 via Thisbe, Nomenklatür are back on the label with a bang. Indeed, N.B.I.C. gathers 3 original tracks that perfectly blend the minimalist electro and dark techno genres that characterized the sound of the French duo from Paris. The EP, which also features the singles “Anywhere Out of The World” and “Feier der Gestirne”, depicts a chilling world, where human kind is heading to a permanent connection to the grid, without any interruption. Ever. There is no coming-back from it, no more control on anything…Will we be reaching that stage in the near future?
If you listen closely to the music and are mindful of the feelings and emotions conveyed by it, it might indeed be a plausible scenario. Food for thought, music for thought. The immersion into Nomenklatür´s latest production is real.  
 
The EP is completed by a remix by Bonkers Music´s head Ludviq. The Barcelona-based artist brings in his singular sound by reworking the single “Anywhere Out of The World”, transporting the listener into a more psychedelic and New Beat universe, to the greatest delight of the aficionados of Ludviq´s trademark sound.

Have you ever felt like everything falls apart, like a Lego set that never comes back the same? 

That's exactly what Roliva & Marito Ramirez refer to in their new collaboration: a track that fuses the pop influences of both northern artists with an analog and acid touch, characteristic of the Culiacán native. This single, inspired by the metaphor of the game that falls apart piece by piece, explores the idea of loss and reconstruction, with that characteristic sense of humor of the Ciudad Juárez native. 

The EP has remixes by Mahkina, a producer from the Bajío region, who offers a nostalgic and sentimental version with a finely nineties aesthetic, which strips Marito's voice and envelopes it in a melancholic and distant atmosphere. 

Meanwhile, Mundo D, from Spain, brings a cut full of energy, in his pure High-Energy style, euphoric and direct, with dominant melodies that make the track an ideal piece for the peak of the night. Lastly, Prince Terrible is in charge of closing the EP with a dynamic remix that combines his Electroclash influences with Hyperpop, in an aesthetic and visual proposal, that could well be heard on any fashion catwalk.
