Rucci & @tulioxi are back with another rhythm's riders collaboration.
A joint venture between the leaders of @cosmic-sumo can only be good news for DJs and Dancers from all over the world. "The Boyz of ikaroo" is the perfect blend of the musical personalities that have shaped the sound of these artists. Acid but Funk, Indie but House, Ebm but Soul, a nice journey towards an unconventional sound where everything flows into a fresh and unstoppable beat.
The single will be released on October 22nd for Cosmic Sumo Recording and includes the remix of @jamesrod.

ᴘʀᴇᴍɪᴇʀᴇ - RUCCI & TULIOXI  - The boys of Ikaroo

‘Ghost of Arms’, the dark synth-pop jewel from @cursesforever & @terr_music is about to get the remix treatment thanks to an exciting line up!

Italian born, Florence-based @matisaxx is injecting a more than efficient trancy and bumping prog house energy into the original, while staying true to its emotional side. A glorious version tailored made for euphoric hands-in-the-air, get-lost-in-the-moment scenes in the clubs.

Paris-born composer, orchestrator and Musique Concretist @wladimirschall delivers a beautiful and fascinating stripped-down interpretation.
Built around an infectious hazy melody and ethereal guitar chords, in that melancholic setting, Terr's reflections on lost love resonates even deeper.

South Korean producer and dj @shubostar speeds up the pace a bit with her synth-driven, Italo inspired remix. Now draped in her signature cosmic sound, Terr vocals are more moving than ever, Curses soothing guitar action are floating all around, all of it invoking the bitter-sweet melancholy of a reflective night ride.

Roswell Brothers is a Mexican/Chilean project hailing from the underground Rock and Trance scenes. An electronic Rock fusion with high doses of progressive Disco. (DJ Mag Spain | # 123 | May 2021).
They appear in the series of Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space in the late 2020 and since then their music has been released by renowned labels like Nein Records, Emerald & Doreen, Mélopée, J Records, Maleante, Controlla, Veneno and Golden Soul, to name a few.

Born In Mexico se enorgullece de presentar la nueva edición de "Tandem". En esta ocasión, los artistas invitados son Juan Soto y Pato Watson. El EP incluye dos brillantes cortes originales acompañados de remixes a cargo de Rigopolar y Dan Solo.
 
El EP comienza con "The Map" de Juan Soto, un fascinante viaje intergaláctico donde el bajo y la batería se entrelazan con energía constante, mientras los pads envuelven al oyente con suavidad. Rigopolar aporta su visión en el remix de "The Map", ofreciendo una versión profunda y lisérgica. El bajo derretido, las voces reverberadas y los sintetizadores envolventes transportan al oyente a un trance sonoro.
 
Continuando con "Head To Head" de Pato Watson y Le Chev, el EP alcanza nuevas alturas de intensidad. El ritmo cíclico hipnotiza mientras el bajo y la batería impulsan hacia adelante, sumergiendo al oyente en un remolino sónico de sintetizadores. Para cerrar con broche de oro, Dan Solo transforma "Head To Head" en un viaje psicodélico y poderoso, manteniendo una base rítmica intensa y cautivadora de principio a fin.

Señor Chugger, a prolific Bristol-based producer and remixer, makes his debut on Wrong Era with an EP filled with his unique blend of euphoric synth lines and sophisticated, arcane themes. His music immerses listeners in a synth-ridden realm, offering a collection of instant classics. The EP, 'Sunset On The A38' , also includes remixes from Wrong Era Label heads Sesto Senso and fellow label affiliate Radondo.

Señor Chugger sets the tone with '75 To Seafront ', a track that kicks the release into high gear. The tight, weighty drums and metallic pads create a powerful backdrop, while the descending bass-arp adds a visceral element. '75 To Seafront' seamlessly combines Chugger's monstrous bass tones and fluttering emotional melodies, creating a journey of euphoria with each rhythmic combination.

'Party In A Field In Cornwall' flirts with flashes of early UK house and Señor Chuggers special blend of Italo Disco. A creamy synth line, singing over a rasping, defined bass riff, unfolds into the mix. Still in keeping with the solidity of the intro track, percussion is robust and melodics are carefully detailed. The midway point of the EP is marked with the endlessly emotive and sophisticated 'Festival Skyline'. Painting an artful sonic depiction of its title' Festival Skyline' breathes a modern breath onto the golden era of new wave with choral harmonies that bring a tear to the eye and a bassline that anchors these emotions.

Stepping into the synthwave 'From The Harbour' weaves into flange-soaked electro. A swirling synth hook dances over a pulsating bass arp. Deliciously tuned vocoder lines swim through the crisp instrumentation with punctual vocal stabs. Choral pads join the medley preempting sliced vocal chops that put his elegant sound design on full display. These vocals whip across the stereo field, concluding the track's excitement.

'Sunset On The A38' closes with the fittingly named Devon Expressway. An anthemic pad-driven atmospheric piece with dimly lit twilight imagery. A tweeting synthline clambers over the augmented low-end hinting at the central theme to come. Haunting choral synths chant and swathes of pads sweep through the arrangement. A CMI cries out, and an enigmatic melody pricks the ears. Señor Chugger combines his innate gift of pushing genre boundaries, painting sonic scenes with effortless charm.

Along with these 5 shimmering tracks, label heads Sesto Senso and Wrong Era's Radondo join the release with remixes of '75 To Seafront' and 'Festival Skyline'. The illustrious collaboration of Fabrizio Mammarella and Franz Scala brings their signature metallic arps and earth-shattering drums to the remix. Respectfully lifting key elements from the original and injecting them with their infectiously energetic flair, a peak-time dancefloor gem is born. Radondo gives 'Festival Skyline' a stripped-back rework, letting the choral harmonies of the original shine forth. His signature percussive approach tows the line for an infectious bassline to dance below the arps of Señor Chugger.

Ackerman's debut EP on Play Pal opens with the high-octane title track, "More & Faster" a dynamic mix of mid-paced percussion, syncopated arpeggios, robotic vocals, and sharp snares.

Next up is "Time Machine," a moody, synth-driven track that offers psychedelic dark grooves, punctuated by stuttering vocals and 303s. Meanwhile, "Can We Rewind Time" stomps forward with a heavy bassline and pulsating sound waves, building to a fiery climax.

Adding depth to the release are label friends and frequent Play Pal contributors Mufti, Leonor and TYU, each bringing their unique stamps to the originals.

Mufti’s rework of "More & Faster" strips back the original, retaining the hypnotic mantra, while adding new layered synth lines that heighten the tension throughout the track. Leonor’s darker take on "Time Machine" introduces a menacing funk, complete with a tempo-slowing breakdown before the latin vocal (a personal addition of his), kicks back in with force.

TYU rounds off Ackerman's kinetic collection with his signature blend of percussive acid bubbling, congas, and 303s, delivering an electrifying finish to the EP.

Cormac‘s Polari label kicks off the year with CYRK‘s new dance-floor focused release. The Heat drops 21st of February.

Cormac on CYRK‘s upcoming single; ‘‘CYRK are to date the most released artist on Polari. It’s a bit of a love affair (which is fitting as they are a love story also). The leather mix of this release is so sexy and the house mix hits it every set.‘‘

Collaborating with Maryland-born singer, songwriter, and composer Yona Marie - The vocals embody a suave nuance amplifying the tracks.

CYRK on their upcoming release;  ‘‘We were playing some early Underground Resistance vocal Detroit techno in one of our sets (Living for the Night) and thought we would try to produce that kind of 90s 909 based fast house music, After producing the initial track, we began the search for a vocalist and were thrilled to discover Yona Marie. Her voice brought the track to life, and we decided to experiment further with a ‘Leather Mix’—a darker, moodier version of the original. For the radio edit, we had some help from Marco Freivogel, as it was a challenge deciding what to trim from the track.‘‘

The Heat stands  testament to the vibrant and ongoing collaboration between Cormac, Polari and CYRK.
