The Turin based dynamo melds elements of electro disco, italo and house to create a uniquely aromatic blend of dancefloor joy. Clean drum patterns, claps and hi-hats are at the foundation of “Italo Void”. From these percussion points, a bold and ensnaring melody takes flight; glimmering synthlines shining from beginning to end. Fellow Bordello mainstay, Lauer arrives to bring his own analogue sound to the title piece. Accentuating that irrepressible tune, piano keys give extra ballast with a touch of late evening romance as we wait for the sun to come up. The flip transports us to Scandinavia for some unrequited love. Although “Forelskelse” may mean unexplored passions, this track is brimming with emotions. Burning with a smouldering energy, ingredients from disco to house combine to produce a wonderfully uplifting work. David Bay, of Zissou Records fame, closes with his interpretation of “Forelskelse”. From the Italian seaside town of Trani, Domenico Ventura - aka DayVentura - is virtuously making his debut on the electronic music scene from a meticulous study of all that has gone before, since his musical journey began with the influence of his father's 80s electronic music.

This eclectic mix of influences defines the distinctive sound of DayVentura, which has already reached several dancefloors in Italy, such as in Milan (BASE, Apollo Club, Superlove, Super Club) already being hosted twice by Le Cannibale, Turin (Bunker), in Veneto (Vinile Club, Loco Club) and others among Marche and Puglia, up to the European decks of Arkaoda in Berlin with Slow Motion Records in the format Memory Dance.

Over the years, with the participation of other members, he built Insert Coin: an event reality that brings music and all the Italian and North European imagery of the 80s translated visually and sonically into an 8-bit video game to clubs.
In September 2023, he also began his journey into music production with the project "The Meld Network," on which he collaborated with the Argentinian DJ Mystery Friend. The Meld Network aims to give a more modern and techno-inspired sound to Italian disco productions and related musical influences from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
The first release was 'Protocol Modern Surgery Edits I', a 14-track album (12 edits of dated tracks and two own productions).

His music blends elements of Italian disco, Synthpop, Electro, EBM, New Beat, Acid House, and Techno, resulting in a hypnotic journey through the realms of synthesized elegance and the raw power of retro drum machines. It displays a deep appreciation for sonic diversity and a commitment to creating immersive experiences.
His DJ sets are characterized by a sensual yet powerful sound that creates a captivating and electrifying atmosphere.

ABOUT THE TRACK

Re-interpretation of the Disco Classic "I Feel Love" by Moroder & Donna Summer, the stunning "I Feel Love Medley" by Bronski Beat & Marc Almond was born and still shines under the sign of SynthPop. This 1985 genious three-track-medley produced by Mike Thorne melts perfectly together "Love To Love You" and "I Feel Love" initially by Donna Summer with "Johnny Remember Me" originally by John Leyton, creating an endless journey into the most pure and original SynthPop ever produced, expressed through the powerful voices of Jimmy Sommerville (from Bronski Beat) and Marc Almond (from Soft Cell).
In this slowed-down but strengthened edit by the Italian 24-year-old DayVentura, UK SynthPop's gracefulness meets the rawness, transport, and sensuality of late 80s Frankfurt Techno—all accurately "studied and encrypted" for modern savage dancefloors.

A collaboration between Greco-German duo Local Suicide, and Argentinian Panko brings this sexy and dark single that mixes both worlds, with some Latin percussions, a groovy baseline, and Spanish vocals. The feeling on it evokes the sensation of stepping into a club, where the euphoric, sensual energy of the dance floor envelops you in ecstasy and the night's journey, intoxicated by the music, surrendering to the urge to dance without inhibition or the need for words.

Greco-German Vamparela and Brax Moody of unstoppable DJ and producer duo and couple Local Suicide do not believe in half measures for their music. In addition to maintaining careers in the music industry, and pu ing on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, these two are still finding time to make waves with their productions and drive live audiences into a frenzy not just in their chosen hometown of Berlin but across all four corners of the world. Matteo Mussoni and Nicola Zucchi were raised on the 1970s and early 80s disco romance. The duo founded Sparkling Attitude by channelling their shared love of music machines and mirrorballs. Their debut EP draws on the magic of Italo disco, the silver screen's synthesiser soundtracks and the Italian coastline's open stretches. “Dov’eri Sabato Sera” recounts the tale of unrequited love; youth, possibility and dashed hopes play out to a crisp rhythm and wistful melodies. Those heart-strained notes then take the limelight for the instrumental version, analogue strings soaring to impassioned heights. The flames keep burning on the flip with “Melodico Romantico”. Disco-infused, bold and brazen beats are made up of dark rouges and effervescent greens as breathy vocals whisper. Mussoni and Zucchi dive deep into their machines for the curtain close. Sparkling Attitude - Melodico Romantico

Barcelona’s Anbau (Aspecto Humano) debuts on Bordello with a Giro d’Italia themed EP. Dedicated to its heroic riders and specifically the late Marco Pantani. He broke through in 1994, winning one of the hardest Giro climbs with an incredible time record; the Passo del Mortirolo. He eventually became second in the final rankings of this legendary tour of Italy.

The release will be out on the 4th of May, kicking off the 108th edition of La Corsa Rosa. Every copy comes in a limited edition sleeve with a rare original Merlin collector’s sticker of the 78th Giro from ’95.
