Composé à Brest, le projet puise dans ses émotions récentes et dans l'énergie des clubs UK qui l’ont marqué. Blanc Soleil - What I Need

JaJaJa (delfonic rework)

Rapturous tribal drum mayhem explodes out of the gate while an extended spoken-word vocal sample inciting a discotheque ritual immediately take the dancer to ecstatic, hands-up-in-the-air deliverance. An insidious, narcotic bassline pinched from the original pushes the proceedings along in this sly and energetic Delfonic take on the Tegel Boys’ Fall In Line track. Precise cowbell liturgy, and the gnawing 303-acid propulsion jump in and out as the tension builds. The vocal sample implores you to stay with the sacrament as the sinewy Turkish-psych guitar lines snake into the mix, before the bongo salvation hammers home this peak-time weapon of a remix.

Clinique Lacuna weaves a magnetic connection between synthetic cold wave, breakbeat electronic rhythms, and a dark, elegant pop sensitivity. With  Our Time is Gone  , the duo continues their exploration of a melancholic yet danceable universe—somewhere between the club and a postmodern dreamscape. Vaporous vocals, analog textures, and cinematic tension blend into a singular world, echoing both 80s new wave and today’s cutting-edge electronic scenes.

For her sophomore outing on Razor-N-Tape, Megatronic drops “There’s Truth in Gospel”, an extended concept EP built around the idea of a modern-day gospel congregation, reimagined through the lens of soulful, high-energy club sounds. Its six soulful house tracks explore vibrant layers of live instrumentation, from trumpets, flutes, and diverse percussion styles that breathe warmth into the sonic palette of the record. Featuring the voices of Fawziyya Heart, Aku, and Chico Casidi, and gorgeous artwork that perfectly captures the rich concept of the music, “There’s Truth in Gospel” is an ode to unity, joy, and collective celebration.

“This last track on the EP is the most melodic and positive energy-filled on the project. The idea was to create a track that reflects who I am and is also a little more mainstream, with the aim of making this first EP accessible to as many people as possible. It has a Mall Grab-style dance vibe, which means the track can be played both outdoors and in the middle of the evening.”

“I wanted to make a techno/break track sound like a jungle track, with strong percussion punctuating the beat over a very UK bassline. Chords reminiscent of PS2 games and a fairly serious but above all very hype overall atmosphere. To sum up, I tried to create a UK track in my own way. The track that inspired me was very different, though (Love by Luke Slater).”
